Oppo launched its Reno 7 series back in November. The Pro version has received the warmest welcome among the three smartphones. However, the vanilla and SE versions haven’t received the expected ones. Now, the Indian market has also received the vanilla and Pro variants of the phone. Here, we will dig into the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of Oppo Reno 7 Pro in Nepal.
Oppo Reno 7 Pro Overview
Display and Design
To begin with, the Oppo Reno 7 Pro sports a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+ contents while boasting 500nits of typical brightness, 800nits of High Brightness Mode (HBM), and 920nits of peak brightness. A pixel capacity and pixel density is measuring 1080×2400 and 402 respectively.
The screen gets its protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It weighs 180 grams and embeds the dimension of 158.2×73.2×7.5mm. There are four color options available for the model – Blue, Black, Gold, and League of legends.
Performance and Memory
Under the hood, 7 Pro is powered up with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Max 5G with octa-core CPU cores clocked at the maximum speed of 3.0GHz. Likewise, the graphics depart is handled by Arm’s Mali G77 MC9.
As per memory, there are two different configurations – 8/256GB and 12/256GB of UFS 3.1. Unfortunately, there is no dedicated or shared microSD card slot on the device if you’re curious if you can expand the internal storage. On the software front, the device boots on Android 11 on top of ColorOS 12.
Camera and Audio
Moving on to optics, there is a triple camera setup on the back of Oppo Reno 7 Pro. It has a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, 1.0-microns pixel capacity, and PDAF support. Further, there is an ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture. Completing the setup is a 2MP macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture.
Upfront, there is a 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture and 0.8-microns pixel capacity. Here, the rear camera can shoot 4K videos at 30fps, but the front camera limits up to 1080p. However, both have the support for gyro-EIS which leads to better shots.
For audio, there is a loudspeaker system with stereo speakers integrated into the handset. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack for calls and music here but you can see its good compatibility with other Bluetooth devices.
Rest of the specs
Fueling the handset is a non-removable lithium-polymer 4,500mAh battery cell with 65W fast charging support. It also supports reverse charging whose capacity is yet to be known. For biometrics, there is an optical under-display fingerprint and a software-based face unlocks.
Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and color spectrum. Likewise, there is Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS with A-GPS (Up to dual-band: GLONASS (1), BDS (2), GALILEO (2), QZSS (2), NavIC), NFC, and a USB Type-C 2.0.
