We recently got to see Xiaomi Redmi 10 (2022) in the Nepali market. And now, Xiaomi has introduced Redmi 10C in the Nigerian market. The device succeeds last year’s Redmi 9C is rumored to be the rebranded Redmi 10 for India. Here, we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of Redmi 10C in Nepal.
Redmi 10C Overview
Display and Design
Beginning with the display, it measures 6.71-inches alongside 720×1650-pixel resolution. It has 268 PPI density alongside an 82.0% screen-to-body ratio. Above the screen, there is a waterdrop-style notch that holds the front-facing camera. The screen then gets its protection from a Corning Gorilla Glass.
The handset embeds the dimension of 169.6×76.6×8.3mm and weighs just 190 grams. The rear panel has a textured finish while also including a square camera island and a fingerprint scanner. It comes in three different color options – Graphite Gray, Ocean Blue, and Mint Green.
Performance and Memory
Powering the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset based on a 6nm fabrication process. It integrates an octa-core CPU with four Kryo 265 Gold and four Kryo 265 Silver cores clocked at the speed of 2.4GHz and 1.9GHz respectively. Likewise, the graphics are handled by Adreno 610 processor.
Over to the software front, the phone still boots on Android 11 on top of MIUI 13. Further, there are two memory configurations available for the phone – 4/64GB and 4/128GB of UFS 2.2. You can also expand your internal storage up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Camera and Audio
For optics, there is a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF support. It also has a 2MP lens for portrait shots. Upfront, there is a 5MP selfie snapper with an f/2.2 aperture. Both rear and front can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. Furthermore, you can see the loudspeaker system for audio accompanied by a 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls.

Under the hood, Redmi 10C gets its fuel from a massive 5,000mAh battery cell with18W charging support. The charging is done via a USB Type-C 2.0 port which can also be used for data transfer purposes. For biometrics, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner followed by a software-based face unlock.
Other sensors include an accelerometer and proximity. Moreover, there are connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO), and a region-dependent NFC. In addition, you can also see the infrared blaster in the model.

Redmi 10C may or may not launch in Nepal but we still estimate a starting price of NPR 19,000 for the 4/64GB memory version. In Nigeria, it costs NGR 78,000 and NGR for the 4/64GB and 4/128GB respectively.
