In 2019, Redmi launched a wireless earphone namely, Redmi AirDots which became quite popular due to its affordable pricing and OKish performance considering the price, now it’s rival Redmi Earbuds S is launched in India. After, the launch of Realme’s truly wireless earphones- Buds Air Neo, Redmi teased the launch of the new wireless earphones. The company is launched through an online event on May 26 on its official website and social media platform.
The new wireless earphones get long battery life, reduced latency, sweat & water resistance and voice-assistant. Voice assistant enables users to interact with their smartphone wirelessly such as changing tracks, setting an alarm, reminders and many more. Coming to the more features, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, IPX4 for water and sweat resistance, 7.2mm dynamic driver and so on are available. Also with the new low-latency mode on the Earbuds S, gamers will experience reduced dealy of sound transmission from the smartphone to the earphones. The earphones also feature DSP (digital signal processor), in order to minimize ta ambient noise during calls. And with the new Realtek RTL8763BFR chip we can get a stable connection. Comparing it with the Redmi AirDots Xiaomi has added lots of features to its new wireless earphone which looks promising too.
The AirDots S was launched in China last month with a price tag of 99 Yuan ($17). And for the Indian market, Redmi Earbuds S is priced INR. 1,799. Under 2000 it can be a great deal for many users as the earphones are added with tons of features compared to Redmi AirDots. There is no official announcement regarding the availability of this device for the Nepali market yet.
