Vivo Nex 3, OnePlus 7T, Huawei Mate 30 Pro and iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro & iPhone 11 Pro, these are the upcoming smartphone in Nepal which were recently launched in the global market but yet to be launched in Nepal.
Companies like OnePlus, Apple, Vivo, Huawei has launched their flagship this year. Comparing the design and specifications provided to each of them, they vary in various sector like Display, Camera, Processor and build quality.
OnePlus 7T was announced along OnePlus TV in India. You will be able to get it from September 28 while its release in the UK will only be known after we hear out the company’s plans. US users can get in on October 18. This is an upcoming smartphone in Nepal, yet the launch date is not marked.
This phone will have more screen frequency rate(Hz) like the 7 Pro. It features the Fluid AMOLED capacitive touchscreen an astonishing 90 Hz display that gamers will absolutely love. While the screen-to-body ratio of 87% could be better, still this 6.55-inch display will be great with HDR10+.
Since it is powered with Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855+ you can expect fluid performance on 90Hz display. Couple with Adreno 640 GPU it will run anything thrown at it. The rear of this phone sees a triple camera, a 48 MP wide, 12 MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom and one 16 MP ultrawide camera. The ultrawide camera is capable of recording 4K video. The selfie camera is a wide one of 16 MP but, this time not pop-up like we have seen on OnePlus 7 Pro.
There will be two variants of OnePlus 7t. The base variant will get 128GB storage with 8GB RAM. Similarly, the upper variant will feature 256GB storage with the same memory as its little brother. Wrap charge (30 W charging capability) is now available to charge the OnePlus 7t’s Non-removable Li-Po 3800 mAh battery, the device can reach 70% charge in half an hour. The battery will be more than enough for handling a full day’s work.
Price and Availability
OnePlus 7T launched in India with price INR37,999 and INR39,999 for the 8GB + 128GB option and 8GB + 256GB variant respectively. For Nepal, It’s expected to be around Rs. 60,000 and Rs.65,000 for the 8GB + 128GB option and 8GB + 256GB variant respectively.
Vivo Nex 3 5G
Vivo Nex 3 is a flagship device from the company with an attractive design. For edgy screen, Vivo removed all the physical buttons. As a replacement, Vivo has brought virtual buttons named Touch Sense, which simulates the real touch of the buttons and delivers more comfortable vibration. This is an upcoming smartphone in Nepal, yet the launch date is not marked.
Vivo Nex 3 features phablet size 6.89 inches capacitive touchscreen display with a 93.6% screen-to-body ratio. It has a resolution of 1080 x 2256 pixels giving a 363 PPI density. Vivo termed the design as a waterfall design where we can see less bezel and the screen seem extended to the edge of the device which is curved to nearly 90-degrees. It is capable of HDR10+ contents. Vivo Nex 3 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 plus octa-core processor and Adreno 640 for GPU, which can all kinds of heavy tasks easily and is power efficient as well.
At the back of the device, there is triple camera setup as the main camera with a 64 MP wide sensor (f/1.8), a 13 MP sensor (f/2.5) for telephoto and a 13 MP sensor, (f/2.2) for ultra-wide photos and videos. For the selfie camera, there is a motorized pop-up camera with 16MP sensor (f/2.1). The device comes with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage and is not expandable. Vivo has included 4500 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery to power the device. And, 44W super-fast charger provided in the box to charge this device quickly.
Vivo Nex 3 4G (8/128GB) will cost $707/€641. Vivo Nex 3 5G will cost $810/€730 and $877/€800 for 8/256GB and 12/256GB variants respectively. And the phone is available in 2 sets of colour Liquid Tianhe, Deep air streamer.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro
Huawei has just announced the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, the best one this company has ever produced. It is set to be launched by the company in October this year. But we are not sure whether the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, an upcoming smartphone in Nepal will be available around its initial release date or not.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a glossy design, with its curves adding more sleekness and a feeling of a premium phone. The 6.53 inches OLED display of 1176×2400 pixels boasts an amazing 94% screen-to-body ratio.
Huawei’s new HiSilicon Kirin990 SG powers the Mate 30 Pro. The thing is it outpowers Apple’s latest A13 Bionic, used in iPhone 11, Pro and Pro Max in multiple areas. There will be two variants in case of Memory. The base variant will get 128GB storage, 8GB RAM while the higher model will get 256GB storage and 8GB RAM. The card slot is available to extend the storage up to extra 256 GB.
The quad-camera setup on rear consists of 40 MP main lens, 8 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, 40 MP ultrawide and a 3D TOF Depth of field camera. The TOF, time of fight will enable your video to have software-derived background blur, depending upon the distance of an object. The selfie dual camera will also have a TOF lens with a 32 MP lens.
Face ID is present along with under-display Optical fingerprint system in the Mate 30 Pro. A non-removable Li-Po 4500 mAh battery is packed. Fast charging is available with different watts.
Prices in Nepal will be clearer after the product’s launch, but we expect it around (1,38,000 NRS) 1200 Dollars. Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be available in Black, Space Silver, Cosmic Purple, and Emerald Green.
iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max
The three variants of the iPhone apparently differ in their size. But there are other things that are different among these versions, including the display technology, camera setup, storage, battery and of course, the price. This is an upcoming smartphone in Nepal, yet the launch date is not marked.
The successor to iPhone XR, iPhone 11 starts around the price of $699. While its bigger brothers, the iPhone 11 Pro starts at $999 and the iPhone 11 Max at $1099. The clear difference between these iPhone and its two brothers is the display technology. While the iPhone 11 is equipped with Liquid Retina IPS LCD, the Pro, as well as the Pro Max, come with Super Retina XDR OLED. A13 Bionic processor along with 4 GB ram on all variants gives a boost on your day to day usage.
iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max all start with 64 GB storage. But, 512 GB is only available for the latter two. The Pro and Pro Max feature a triple-camera system which includes a telephoto camera. It provides improvement for long-focus shooting and is great for low-light photography. While the iPhone 11 just has 2 cameras.
iPhone 11 is available in primary colours, namely Black, Green, Yellow, Purple, Red, White. While the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max is available in space grey, silver, gold, and all-new midnight green. It feels that Apple has decided to put some extra shade for these two phones.
