The Vivo V17 Pro has recently been launched smartphone from the Chinese firm Vivo. It features a 6.44-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has Android 9.0 OS installed in it with 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage.
Talking about its most interesting feature, this phone boasts a quad-camera setup at the back while a pair of lens on the pop-up at its front. The dual-lens pop-up is totally new the phone industry has not seen before.

Display and Design
Vivo V17 Pro features phablet size 6.44 inches capacitive touchscreen display with 84.3% screen-to-body ratio. It has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels giving a 409 PPI density. The phone’s back is textured glass while the display is notch-less, giving a premium feel while holding in your palm.
However, it’s not that super light with 202 gm weight.
Camera
Coming to what this phone is about, its camera features are fantastic. The rear quad camera setup has a massive 48 MP camera, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, one 13 MP telephone and a 2 MP dedicated sensor camera.
The dual pop-up lens at the front is brilliant, having 32 and 8 MP. The latter one is ultrawide, for the purpose of covering more of landscapes and more faces.

CPU and Performance
Despite most people not expecting much in the performance section from a phone that’s all about cameras, Vivo V17 Pro handles all routine as well as several extra tasks with quite ease.
It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm SDM675 Snapdragon 675, a decent CPU for most daily activities. But heavy gaming isn’t going to be very good as the processor lacks in top performance.
Operating System
The phone features not-so-latest Android 9 as Q version phones are available in the market. You’ll have Vivo’s own Funtouch 9.1 over the OS.
While looking very much like the other Custom UI that Vivo’s competitors provide, it has some nice, user-friendly features like Ultra Power Saving mode, Game Booster and Motorbike mode.
Memory and Storage
As we have stated in the overview, there is just a single variant of this model with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory. It is expandable up to 256 GB.
Battery
Vivo V17 Pro consists of a Non-removable battery Li-Po 4100 mAh with fast charging enabled. A good battery for the phone for a day’s work.
