Today, Huawei opened a new chapter in its smart earphone devices and launched Huawei FreeBuds 5 earbuds that come with a never seen design and it’s something that may surprise you.
It’s been 2 years since the launch of Huawei FreeBuds 4 and the company made took some time in the middle to forge the FreeBuds 5 earbuds.
Design
The design is inspired by “Rupert’s Tears” for the Huawei FreeBuds 5. The ear handle of the Huawei FreeBuds 5 has a new, fully curved shape that is instantly recognizable, and it is shaped like a drop of water.
This new pair of earbuds has undergone rigorous wearing simulation tests and adjustments. The shape curves of the airbags and ear handles can naturally fit the structure of the ear canal and auricle to provide a comfortable wearing experience.
It comes in three different color options;
Noise reduction
It adopts a semi-open comfortable noise reduction design, upgraded to the comfort noise reduction 3.0 function. From sound pickup to playback, the whole link is improved and brings stronger noise reduction performance.
The interior of the earphone has a three-separation architecture design. Sound unit, battery module, and control circuit board is placed in this design.
Sound
The super magnetic surge unit for the Huawei FreeBuds 5 is powered by double-ring powerful magnets. These wireless earbuds employ sound pressure Turbo technology along with an 11mm super-large diaphragm.
To achieve full-link high-fidelity sound quality, Huawei FreeBuds 5 also supports L2HC and LDAC dual high-definition codecs.
It has an algorithm for optimizing hearing in ultra-wideband real-time. According to the ear canal anatomy, wear state, and volume level, the Huawei FreeBuds 5 can intelligently compute in real-time and finish the 100Hz-2kHz ultra-wideband accurate correction in under two seconds.
Battery
Looking at the power, Huawei FreeBuds 5 has a battery life of up to 30 hours including the charging box. It supports 5C fast charging, and with a 5-minute of charge, the earbuds can provide up to 2 hours of non-stop listening.
