OnePlus Nord CE 2 price in Nepal, specs, & availability- YouTech Nepal

OnePlus launched a new installment in its Nord series – OnePlus Nord CE 2 in the Nepali market a few months back. This is the first smartphone by OnePlus in the global market since the year 2022. This is a mid-ranged phone with Dimensity 900 5G and SuperVOOC charging. And now the price of the device has been raised. Here, we will look at the specs, features, availability, and the new price of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 in Nepal.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Overview

Display and Design

The new OnePlus Nord CE 2 flaunts a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+ content and has a resolution of 1080×2400-pixels. The screen-to-body ratio, aspect ratio, and pixel density here measure 84.9%, 20:9, and 409 respectively. The screen here gets its protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Above the screen, there is a left-aligned punch-hole cutout that holds the front-facing camera.

As per the design, the Nord CE 2 has a similar design to last year’s Find X3 Pro. It weighs 173 grams only and has a dimension of 160.6×73.2×7.8mm. There are two color options for the model – Bahamas Blue and Gray Mirror.

Performance and Memory

Powering the device is MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G chipset based on a 6nm manufacturing process. It integrates an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A78 and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at the speed of 2.4GHz and 2.0GHz respectively. Likewise, the graphics depart is handled by Arm’s Mali-G68 MC4 processor.

The handset comes in two memory configurations – 6/128GB and 8/128GB of UFS 2.2. Among these two, only the latter is available in the Nepali market. You can also expand the internal storage up to 1TB with the help of a dedicated microSD card slot. On the software front, the phone boots on Android 11 on top of OxygenOS 11.3. Since we have already seen Android 12 on most smartphones in 2022, this is not what we expected from OnePlus in this price range of phones. However, we can have two years of major OS updates and one more year of security patches in the Nord CE 2.

Camera and Audio

Under the hood, there is a triple camera set up with a 64MP primary lens that has an f/1.7 aperture, 0.7-microns pixel capacity, and PDAF support. Further, there is an 8MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and 119-degree field of view. Completing the setup is a 2MP camera for macro shots. The module also holds a LED flash for better night shots.

Upfront, there is a 16MP selfie snapper with an f/2.4 aperture and 1.0-microns pixel capacity. Here, the back camera can record up to 4K videos at the rate of 30 frames per second and the front camera is limited to 1080p videos at 30/60 frames per second. Over the audio front, there is a loudspeaker system accompanied by a 3.5mm headphone jack for calls and music.

Fueling the device is a medium 4,500mAh battery with a 65W SuperVOOC charging. It even supports reverse charging to charge some of your accessories. For biometrics, there is an optical under-display fingerprint sensor alongside a software-based face unlocks.

Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Furthermore, the connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, QZSS), NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0.
