Mi TV Q1 4K QLED

The screen on the Mi TV Q1 is 75 inches in size and is made up of a QLED panel the firm dubs “Limitless” because of how thin the borders between the picture and the frame are. There is a 75% screen-to-body ratio. The metal finish on the frame is quite sleek.

The screen’s gamut extends to all of NTSC and nearly all of DCI P3. The 178-degree viewing angle guarantees clear pictures from any seat in the house. Additionally, it can display up to 1,024 distinct color tones and 1.07 billion distinct colors.

To improve contrast, Xiaomi used full array dynamic local dimming with 192 independent zones. There is HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG support on the Mi TV Q1 75. The contrast ratio is 10000:1 and the maximum brightness is 1000 nits.

MediaTek MT9611 is the brains behind the TV. It’s a 1.5GHz quad-core processor that can reach its full potential. The Mali G52 MP2 GPU is in charge of the visuals. The Mi TV Q1 includes 32GB of storage space and 2GB of RAM.

The TV is supported by a metal base and has a carbon fiber rear panel.

The 4K resolution is standard on all of these televisions. They are 60 hertz in refresh rate, can display 92% of the DCI-P3 color space, and are Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ certified. The screen’s Auto Low Latency Mode and response time are both optimized for gaming at 4K@60Hz (5ms). The TV’s design allows for a near seamless 97% display to body ratio.

In addition, the TV’s Reality Flow MEMC (Motion Estimation Motion Compensation) technology can artificially increase the frame rate of a video with a low natural frame rate. This is especially useful for material with a lot of action. The Smart TV X Series also includes the company’s unique Vivid Picture Engine, which intelligently adjusts aspects like as color, contrast, brightness, and clarity to produce the best possible picture.

The TV features two 15W speakers that are compatible with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. In addition, the TV can be operated by voice commands thanks to its integrated far-field microphones.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4A

Xioami’s base model television is the Mi TV 4A. It has a 40″ screen and a 32″ screen for your viewing pleasure. These days, 32-inch screens are in high demand, but 40-inch ones have lost some of their luster. Also, Xiaomi Nepal hopes to revive interest in the category with the help of its new 40-inch Mi TV 4A.

The Mi TV 4A shares many of the same technical specifications as the Mi TV Horizon Edition. Both the 40″ and the 32″ screens are high definition. They both use a 1GB RAM and 8GB storage Amlogic quad-core processor. Android 9.0 is installed by default. The same holds true for the audio output and compatibility.

Mi TV 4A Specifications:

  • Display: 40″ Full HD / 30″ HD display with 178º viewing angle, 6.5ms dynamic response
  • Processor:  Amlogic Cortex-A53 processor with 750MHz Mali-450 MP3 GPU

Xiaomi Mi TV 4X 55

With its thin bezels and basic black design, the Mi TV 4X is strikingly similar to any other TV on the market. Some kind of plastic has been used for the rear panel, and Xiaomi has added a rough finish to the whole thing.

This is a 55-inch, 4K Ultra HD LED-backlit LCD TV. I was unable to locate any conclusive information online about the panel type/grading utilized by Xiaomi. The TV has an IPS panel, according to Android Authority, but the site hasn’t supplied a reference or explained why. In addition, the display of the Xiaomi Mi TV 4X 55 seemed to exhibit traits during the review that lean toward a VA panel instead.

The Mi TV 4X 55 has a 10-bit color depth and a Vivid Picture Engine, both of which improve color accuracy and contrast. Everything up to this point has sounded great, but I’ve noticed that this method, in conjunction with some of the internal picture processing, can be a touch too forceful for my taste.

In the second episode of the second season of The Umbrella Academy on Netflix, I noticed that the contrast level was almost too high on this TV. I almost missed the action in the part of the video where Allison visits the police station (at around the 18:03 mark). Even though the image is well-lit, the HDR algorithm often over-sharpens the subjects and increases the contrast too much.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4X 55 Specifications:

  • Display: 55-inches LED-backlit LCD display
  • Resolution: 4K Ultra-HD (3840 x 2160 pixels)
  • Dimensions: 48.9W x 28.35H” (w/o stand) | 48.9W x 30.3H” (w/ stand)

  • Sound: 2x Speakers with 20W Output (6ohm)
