Let’s begin with the design, Beats Studio Buds is a new earbud that is completely different from its predecessor – Powerbeats Pro. The buds lack extended stem but have an in-ear design which is supposed to be very comfortable to your ears. The case is oval with a USB Type-C port for charging and a LED indicator at the front for the charge situation.
The buds weigh 5.1 grams each and pack three different sizes of silicone ear tips for your comfort. It is IPX4 certified for water and sweat resistance which is quite awesome if you ask me. Further, you can choose from three different color options – Red, Black, and White.

As mentioned earlier, Beats Studio Buds integrates Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) while being run by an 8.2mm dual-element diaphragm driver. Well, since the brand is claiming the statement itself, who are we to argue?

But a bummer – this feature only applies for Apple Music subscribers and not a single user outside that category. Likewise, you can activate Transparency mode by pressing the “b” button for a while i.e., a rather long press. This leads you to hear your surrounding without taking the buds off.
Battery and Controls
The earbuds have a battery endurance of eight hours with a single charging session. Beats assure that even with turned on ANC, it will give the playback time of five hours. Further, you can extend the battery life with extra two rounds of charge with the case.
As per controls, there are physical buttons on both earbuds. You can tap it once, twice, or thrice to play/pause the music, skip a track, or play the previous track. You can also use the hands-free Siri with ease.

The Beats Studio Buds are the first Beat’s buds to support Apple’s Find My and Find My Device on Android. It is compatible with both your Android and iOS devices. You can easily find the last location of your buds with the Bluetooth range.
