DJI has finally released its first wireless video monitoring device on the market. It recently unveiled the RS 3 series gimbals and now it has hit us with DJI Transmission. The device can control the compatible gimbals within a 6km radius and supports remote monitoring. In this article, we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of DJI Transmission in Nepal.
DJI Transmission Overview
As mentioned earlier, DJI Transmission has launched as the first wireless video monitoring device from the brand. It works as a transmitter and a controller. The device uses transmission technology with two primary components – a transmitter and a receiver. The former is a rectangular box with antennae on the left that sends the signal, and the latter brings a 7-inch 1500nits High-Bright Remote monitor that receives the signal as the pictures.
Here, both the transmitter and receiver integrate the same chip solution as we can see in the premium Ronin 4D camera. This results in ultra-low transmission latency when we work with the cameras and to make it better, a single transmitter can also be paired with multiple receivers.
Moving on, the device can send videos up to 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second due to the O3 Pro technology that is available up to 6km. This also includes live audio monitoring. And if it comes to, you can choose your frequency bands (2.4/5GHz) according to your needs. However, you can see the Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) technology to switch between the bands which leads you to an interference-free transmission.
DJI Transmission Price in Nepal
We estimate that if the DJI Transmission ever launches in Nepal, it will have the price of NPR 3,25,000. In the United States, it costs you USD 2,499 and if you want the transmitter and High-Bright Remote Monitor, you need to buy them separately at the price of USD 1,699 and USD 1,099 respectively.
