Honor 50 series was launched back in June who has now been succeeded by the 60 series. In this post, we will dig into the specs, features, availability, and expected price of Honor 60 Pro in Nepal.
Honor 60 Pro Overview
Display and Design
Starting with the design, the new Honor 60 Pro is the premium one in the 60 series. It flaunts a 6.78-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1200×2652-pixel. It has a high refresh rate of 120Hz while boasting HDR10 content. The aspect ratio and PPI density here, remain 20:9 and 429 respectively.
The body weighs 192 grams while embedding the dimension of 163.9×74.8×8.2mm. There is a pill-shaped camera module with two rings. It is available in four different color options- Black, Green, Blue, and Pink.
Performance and Memory
Powering the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus. This means the chip has overclocked prime core. It integrates an octa-core (1×2.5 GHz Cortex-A78 & 3×2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU. Likewise, graphics is handled by Adreno 642L like the Honor 60.
As per memory, there are two configurations – 8/256GB and 12/256GB. You do not have an option to upgrade either since it lacks a microSD card slot. On the software front, there is Android 11 running on top of Magic UI 5.0 with no Google Play Services.
Camera and Sound
Moving on, there is a triple camera setup on the new Honor 60 Pro. It has a 108MP primary lens of f/1.9 aperture and 0.7-microns pixel capacity. There is also PDAF support. Others are a 50MP ultrawide lens of 112-degree field-of-view and a 2MP camera for macro shots. The module also includes a Dual-LED flash for better night shots. The rear camera setup can shoot 4K videos at the rate of 30 frames per second. It also has gyro-EIS for better stabilization.
Upfront, there is a 50MP selfie snapper with an f/2.4 aperture. It also has gyro-EIS for videos but unfortunately sticks on 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. Talking about sound, there is a loudspeaker system. But it lacks the standard 3.3mm headphone jack for music and calls.
Rest of the Specs
Fueling the device is a medium 4,800mAh battery cell with 66W fast charging support. Honor claims to fill the half juice in just 15 minutes. The device also supports 5W reverse charging. For biometrics, there is an optical under-display fingerprint sensor and a software-based face unlock. Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
Moreover, there is Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS), NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0 for wireless connectivity.
