Starting from the design, the new Nova lineup from Huawei flaunts a 6.72-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1 Billion colors. It has a pixel resolution of 1236×2676 while the screen-to-body ratio remains 89.9%. The model supports HDR10 contents which lacks in the Nova 9. Performance and Memory
Powering the Nova 9 Pro is Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G based on a 6nm manufacturing process. It has an octa-core CPU with Kryo 670 cores divided in such a way that for of them are clocked at the speed of 2.4GHz while the remaining are at 1.8GHz. Likewise, the graphics factor is handled by Adreno 642L.

Fueling the device is a Li-Po 4,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging. Huawei claims full juice up in just 20 minutes. This is a downgrade from the 4,300mAh battery in Nova 9. However, it also supports reverse charging. For biometrics, there is an under-display fingerprint sensor on the screen. Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
Moving on, there is Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (A-GPS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, NavIC), an NFC, and a USB Type-C 2.0 for connectivity options.
