Infinix Zero 5G with 120Hz refresh rate goes official

Infinix has been expanding its premium mobile lineups for quite a time now. Last year, it launched smartphones like the Zero X series and Concept Phone 2021. And now, we got to see a new one named Infinix Zero 5G. In this post, we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of Infinix Zero 5G in Nepal.

Display and Design

The new Infinix Zero 5G sports a 6.78-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution. It boasts a 120Hz refresh rate alongside a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. Likewise, there is a peak brightness level of 500nits and a pixel density of 388. It also has an 88.1% screen-to-body ratio.

The device embeds the dimension of 168.7×76.5×8.8mm while weighing 199 grams. Also, it is safe to say that Infinix has gone with a different design than what it usually goes for. There are three color options available for the model – Cosmic Black, Skylight Orange, Horizon Blue.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the Infinix Zero 5G gets its power from MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G based on a 6nm manufacturing process. It integrates an octa-core CPU with Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores clocked at the speed of 2.4GHz and 2.0Ghz respectively. It also supports dual SIM 5G with a total of 13 5G bands. Likewise, the graphics depart is handled by Arm’s Mali-G68 MC4.

As per memory, there is a single memory configuration – 8/128GB of UFS 3.1. You can also expand the internal memory with the help of a dedicated microSD card slot. Further, the device boots on Android 11 on top of XOS 10.

Moving on, there is a triple camera setup of the rear panel of Zero 5G. There is a 48MP primary lens accompanied by a 13MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom support. Completing the setup is a 2MP camera for portrait shots. You can record up to 4K videos at the rate of 30 frames per second. Further, the module even includes a Quad-LED flash for better night shots.

Upfront, there is a 16MP selfie shooter inside the center-aligned punch-hole cutout. It has a 1.12-microns pixel capacity. The front-facing camera is also accompanied by a Dual-LED flash. As per the videos, you can shoot up to 1080p ones at the rate of 30 frames per second. Furthermore, there is a loudspeaker for audio. You can also see a 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls.

Fueling the device is a massive 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Likewise, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and software-based face unlocks for biometrics. Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
