Motorola entered the tablet market with last year’s Tab G20 and now, it has introduced a new lineup on its tab series – Moto Tab G70. Here, we will look at the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of the Moto Tab G70 in Nepal.
Moto Tab G70 Overview
Display and Design
To begin with, the new tablet from Motorola sports a 2K display with an 11-inch IPS LCD screen with 10-point multitouch and 400nits of brightness. The display also received TUV’s eye comfort certificate and IP52 water repellent rating which can be a good deal for your experience.
The tablet weighs 490 grams and measures 0.29-inches only. We can also see clearly that Moto Tab G70 is the rebadged tablet from Lenovo Tab P11 Plus. There is a metallic design alongside a dual-tone finish at the rear panel. It also consists of the iconic batwing logo at the middle of the panel and on the top left part, there is a circular camera bump.
Performance and Memory
Powering the tablet is MediaTek’s Helio G90T integrating two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at the speed of 2.05GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at the speed of 2.0GHz. Previously, there was a less powerful Helio P22T in last year’s Moto Tab G20.
As per memory, there is a single configuration of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. You can also expand the latter up to 1TB with the help of a dedicated external microSD card slot. On the software front, the tablet boots on Android 11. Moreover, Google Kids Space and Entertainment Space comes pre-installed on the device.
Camera and Audio
Under the hood, Moto Tab G70 features an auto-focus and an LED flashlight. Upfront, there is an 8MP selfie snapper with a fixed focus. According to the brand, this was specially designed for video calls and online classes. Furthermore, there is a quad-speaker setup with the support of Dolby Atmos audio. It also includes two microphones with DSP’s Smart Voice. Unfortunately, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack port. However, you can use the charging port with Type-C headphones for your daily life.
Rest of the Specs
Fueling the tablet is a 7,700mAh battery cell with 20W Rapid Charge via USB Type-C 2.0. It gives an endurance time of 12 hours when you have a non-stop video playback time. Moreover, there is an LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity options. Lastly, it has a 4-point Pogo pin for the external keyboard.
