Nokia has been launching new smartphones back to back in the last few months. The latest launch is a new C-series device – Nokia C30. It has the largest panel and battery on any C-series smartphone ever. The brand has also lessened the price from when it was launched in November. Display and Design

The Nokia C30 features a 6.82-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolutions and a peak brightness of 400 nits. It boasts 1600×720 pixels capacity with 257 PPI density and 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen also has medium-sized bezels at the three edges and on the chin, it has a high bezel with Nokia branding.

Moving on, the handset is 9.9mm thick and 237 grams in weight. Green and White are the two colors you can choose before buying the model.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, Nokia C30 is powered with a Unisoc SC9863A processor based on a 28nm chipset. There is an octa-core Cortex-A55 CPU core among which four are clocked 1.6GHz and rest at 1.2GHz. Likewise, IMG8322 handles the graphics factor.

On the software front, it packs the GO edition of Android 11 out of the box. Nokia claims for two years of major security updates for the smartphone. As per memory, there are three configurations – 2/32GB, 3/32GB, and 3/64GB. The internal storage is also expandable up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

Camera and Sound

Moving on to optics, it has a dual-camera setup in a circular camera module at the back. A 13MP wide lens and a 2MP depth sensor house the model with a LED flash. Upfront, there is a 5MP selfie shooter inside a teardrop notch above the screen. However, the video support of the Nokia C30 is yet to be cleared.

Over the sound, there is a loudspeaker system and a 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls as well as the FM radio.

Battery and Extras

Fueling the Nokia C30 is a massive 6,000mAh battery of Lithium Polymer type. It supports 10W charging via USB Type-C 2.0. For biometrics, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock facility. Additional sensors include an accelerometer and proximity.

Similarly, it has Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS (A-GPS) for connectivity.
