OnePlus Nord 2 has been on a highlight for quite a day now. The latest installment of the OnePlus lineup, OnePlus Nord CE 5G is now being replaced by a new smartphone, OnePlus Nord 2. OnePlus Nord 2 launch date
An Indian Tipster Mukul Sharma has hinted about the launch date of the OnePlus Nord 2 in his recent tweet. According to the post, we can expect the OnePlus Nord 2 within the last of July in India. To be precise he has also mentioned the last ten days of the month or precisely 24th-ish. However, it will take some time to hit the Nepali market.
OnePlus has neither confirmed nor denied this tip which suggests that we can expect the new Nord installment within June. Further, OnePlus will confirm the official launch date soon.
OnePlus Nord Rumored Specifications
Design
A renowned leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer a.k.a. Onleaks has tipped that the new OnePlus Nord 2 has a similar design to that of the OnePlus 9 series. In the same vein, the camera module looks very similar to that of the 9-series. In addition, it is expected to have two circular cutouts. Moreover, the branding will be at the back.
Further, it would flaunt the dimension of 160×73.8×8.1mm and the trademark alert slider of the OnePlus brand. The AMOLED display will be 6.43-inch with FHD+ resolution boasting a refresh rate of 90Hz.
Performance and Camera
Powering the handset will be the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. This was seen on the AI benchmark website. Further, it is estimated to ship with 8GB of RAM.
As per optics, there is going to be a triple camera setup inside the module which will also house the LED flash. At the front, there will be a punch-hole cutout at the top-left corner. The camera specs are yet to be released by the brand and by far, there have been no leaks.
OnePlus has assured two major Android updates and three years of security updates for the new OnePlus Nord 2. It will also come with a pre-installed OxygenOS 11.
Rest of the Specs
Moving on, there is also an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics. The battery factor is still a mystery, but the port is going to be USB Type-C 2.0. Further, there is going to be a speaker grille and a SIM tray in the model.
OnePlus Nord 2 price and availability in Nepal
According to an unknown tipster, we estimate the new OnePlus Nord 2 to have a price tag of CNY 2,000 in the Chinese market. If we look back this meets the price of OnePlus Nord when it first launched. Moreover, if the OnePlus Nord 2 hits Nepal, its price will be around NPR 48,999.
