OnePlus has launched an earbud – OnePlus Nord Buds that is the first in its Nord series for the accessories since it was limited to a smartphone before. The earbuds were launched at an online event with the other two smartphones as well. The OnePlus Nord Buds bring some interesting features and some disappointing ones which we are going to see in this article along with their price in Nepal.
OnePlus Nord Buds Overview
Design
The new OnePlus Nord Buds has a new design which was expected since it’s the first in its lineup. The buds have a flat stem design and ship in a box-like case. They have IP55 water resistivity which means they can survive minor splashes and sweats. It is available in two color configurations – White Marble and Black Slate.
Audio
The earbuds integrate 12.4mm drivers which are larger than the other general earbuds these days. The audio codec support is SBC and AAC only which means it can be a little disappointing compared to the other earbuds these days. Further, the buds support Dolby Atmos and feature Several Sound Master EQ presets as well. This helps you tune the audio according to your needs.
There is no Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) but it is replaced by two microphones per bud which are supposed to bring us a great experience with crystal clear sound.
Rest of the specs
Furthermore, the buds get their fuel from a 41mAh battery cell each and the charging case comes with a 480mAh. You can have 30 hours of battery endurance with the average usage when combined with the charging case. The charging is done via the USB Type-C port that lies beneath the charging case.
Moreover, the connectivity option here is Bluetooth 5.2 which is very fast and easy. Even if you use the buds in Pro Gamer mode, the ping or the latency is very low – up to 94ms.

The earbuds have already started on sale in the Indian market for the price of INR 2,800. If the OnePlus Nord Buds ever reaches Nepal, we estimate its price to be around NPR 6,000.
