POCO F3 GT is now official in the Nepali market. After tons of rumors and tips, POCO Nepal has finally dropped the phone in a launch event. From what we’ve heard, it is 22% and 25% faster than its predecessor in terms of CPU and GPU performances respectively. Here, we will dig into the specs, features, availability, and the official price of POCO F3 GT in Nepal.

POCO F3 GT Overview

Design and Display

POCO F3 GT features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. In addition, it has a 480Hz three-finger sampling rate. Further, 500-nits typical brightness which produces 1.07 billion colors. The screen received IP53 certification for water and dust resistance.

The F3 GT sports glass design at the back is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Moreover, there are four color configurations – Light Blade, Shadow, Silver Wing, and Brue Lee Special Edition.

Performance and Memory

Powering the F3 GT is a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset based on a 6nm manufacturing process. It has an octa-core (1×3GHz & 3×2.6GHz & 4×2GHz Cortex A78) CPU accompanied by the Mali-G77 MC9 graphics processor. This should give you an excellent experience while using the phone.

The device scored 7,24,455 on AnTuTu 9 benchmark as shown by the teaser by POCO. Further, it has graphene, graphite, and a vapor chamber for cooling purposes.

As per memory, there are five options and one additional Bruce Lee edition. It has up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage of UFS 3.1. The internal memory is not expandable through any means. On the software front, there is Android 11 on top of MIUI 12.5.

Camera and Sound

POCO F3 GT flaunts a triple camera setup at the back. There is a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and 0.7 microns pixel capacity. Completing the setup is an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro shooter. It has a Dual-LED flash that surrounds the rear camera and glows when game mode is on. Further, the rear cameras support HDR and panorama modes. They can also shoot the videos at the max of 4K resolutions with the rate of 30 frames per second.

Moving on, there is a 16MP front-facing camera inside the center-aligned punch-hole cutout above the screen. It supports HDR mode and the video shoots up to 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second.

For sound, there are stereo speakers with 24-bit/192kHz audio support which is tuned in by JBL. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a 3.5mm port for headphones.

Battery and Extras

Fueling the device is a massive 5,065mAh battery cell with a 67W charging adapter inside the box. It also supports Power Delivery 3.0 and Quick Charge 3+. The brand claims that the charging time is around 42 minutes for 1 to 100%. The charging is done via a USB Type-C 2.0 port which is also usable for data transferring.

There is Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity. Likewise, the device sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. Other sensors are an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, and color spectrum.
