After tons of rumors, the Realme GT Neo 2 has finally gone official. This succeeds the recently launched GT Neo. The phone has now entered the Nepali market via Daraz 1 Rupee game and the original price is NPR 54,199 for an 8/128GB memory variant. Starting from the design, the Realme GT Neo 2 flaunts a 6.62-inch display with Full HD+ resolution. The Samsung E4 AMOLED panel boasts a 120Hz refresh rate while the touch sampling rate is also approximately measured at 600Hz. There is a peak brightness of 1300nits and a contrast ratio of 5,00,000:1. Further, the device supports DC Dimming and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the screen.
Moving on to design, there is a rectangular camera module with a matte finish rear panel. Since this is an OLED panel, there lies an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Likewise, there is a punch-hole cutout with a selfie snapper above the screen. There are three color configurations – Black Mint, Blue, and Shadow Black. Among these, the Blue one is not available in Nepal.
Performance and Memory
Powering the Realme C21Y is Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. It is teamed up with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage while the former can expand up to 7GB virtually. On the software front, there is Android 11 running on top of the Realme UI 2.0.
The device sports an 8-layer three-dimensional heat dissipation structure while the stainless-steel vapor cooling area lies integrated inside it. The brand claims the latter to be the largest on the entire portfolio of Realme smartphones. Moreover, there is a diamond thermal paste as a cooling material in the handset. This maintains 20% batter heat dissipation in comparison to the GT Neo.

Talking about the cameras, there is a triple camera setup at the rear panel inside the rectangular module of Realme GT Neo 2. It has a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP scanner for macro shots. Likewise, there is a 16MP front-facing camera. In general, the camera setup is like the setup in GT Neo.
