A few months back, we got to see three smartphones in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series. All of them were 5G versions but now Xiaomi has unveiled a new installment on the series – Redmi Note 11 4G. And as a matter of fact, this smartphone has already hit the Nepali market. This is a different device from the Chinese 5G version. Redmi Note 11 4G Overview
Display and Design
The new Redmi Note 11 4G flaunts a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It has a 90Hz of refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It also boasts 1080×2400 pixels resolution while the aspect ratio and the approximate PPI density remain 405. Further, there is a DCI-P3 color gamut and 1000nits of brightness.
The handset weighs 179 grams while embedding the dimension of 159.87×73.87×8.09mm. There are flat edges on the phone which is different than the Chinese version. It has three color options to choose from – Graphite Gray, Twilight Blue, and Star Blue.
Performance and Memory
Powering the phone is Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 based on a 6nm fabrication process. This makes the processor more power-efficient. It has an octa-core CPU with Kryo 265 CPU cores clocked at the maximum speed of 2.4GHz. Likewise, it is accompanied by Adreno 610 in the case of graphics.
As per memory, there are three memory configurations – 4/64GB, 4/128GB, and 6/128GB. They are LPDDR4X RAM coupled with internal storage of eMMC 5.1. You can also expand the latter with a dedicated microSD card slot. On the software front, it boots on Android 11 running on top of MIUI 12.5.
Camera and Audio
Under the hood, there is a quad-camera set up with a 50MP primary sensor of f/1.8 aperture. It also features an 8MP ultrawide lens with 120 degrees field of view and f/2.2 aperture. Completing the setup are two 2MP cameras for macro and portrait of f/2.4 aperture.
Upfront, there is a 13MP selfie snapper with an f/2.4 aperture. Both front and rear cameras can record 1080p at the rate of 30 frames per second. Lastly, there are loudspeakers with a stereo speaker and support for a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Rest of the Specs
Fueling the Note 11 4G is a massive 5,000mAh with a 33W fast charging adapter included in the box. It can charge from 0 to 100% in just one hour.
For biometrics, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a software-based face unlocks. Likewise, there is an accelerometer, ambient light, proximity, electronic compass, and IR Blaster for additional sensors.
