Samsung Galaxy A31 Launched in India

The Samsung Galaxy A31 smartphone is finally launched in India. The smartphone is the upgraded version over the last year’s Samsung Galaxy A30.

Overview

It has a 6.40-inch FHD+ ‘Infinity U’ sAMOLED display with a resolution of 1080X200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a selfie camera housed inside the waterdrop notch. This phone has a talk time of up to 33 hours, which is an hour more than its predecessor Galaxy A51, and the A31 can house 2 nano-SIM cards. This phone running on Android 10 is powered by a 5000mAh battery (the Samsung Galaxy A51 has 4000mAh battery) which charges fast as this device supports 15W fast charging with a USB Type-C charger. The device is offered with Softwares such as Samsung Pay, Samsung Knox and Samsung Health.

Camera

Samsung Galaxy A31 comes equipped with quad rear cameras. A 48-megapixel primary camera on the rear with an f/2.0 aperture; a second 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a third 5-megapixel macro sensor and a fourth 5-megapixel depth sensor for your photography needs. The ultrawide sensor in A31 provides up to 123-degree FOV.

It also has 20-megapixel front camera, with an f/2.2 aperture, for those beautiful clear selfies, and to assist with it, it has LED flash. The final results are amazing 8000×6000 pixels images.  In addition to these basics, it has other features such as exposure compensation, ISO control, continuous shooting mode, HDR mode, Digital Zoom, Autoflash, Face detection, and touch to focus, to name a few.

This new phone comes with a MediaTek Helio P65 chipset, an Octa-core processor along with In order to run this phone smoothly, its equipped with 6GB RAM. Also, it has an internal storage of 128GB which is expandable up to 512GB, for storing those amazing pictures, to your apps and everything in between. Samsung Galaxy A31 runs Android 10 with One UI on top. In addition to the fingerprint sensor, and proximity sensor, it has face unlock system, compass, accelerometer and many more.

This phone comes at an official price of INR 21,999 for the 6GB/ 128GB variant which is the only available variant for the Indian market. The device comes in 3 different colours, Prism Crush Blue, Prism Crush Black and Prism Crush White.
