Samsung has launched a new smartphone in the Nepali market. It goes by the name Galaxy F22 but is way too familiar with the newly released Samsung Galaxy A22 4G. In this post, we will look at the specs, features, availability, and the official price of the Samsung Galaxy F22 in Nepal.
Samsung Galaxy F22 Overview
Design and Display
Galaxy F22 has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a dimension of 160x 74 x 9.4 mm and weighs 203g. However, the resolution is limited to HD+ with 720×1600-pixels capacity.
The phone has a waterdrop notch at the front and a square bump with the quad-camera setup at the back. But, what makes it different from the Galaxy A22 is that it has a wavy design on the back. The color variations available are – Denim Black and Denim Blue.
Performance and Memory
Samsung Galaxy F22 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 based on a 12nm chip that was previously used by Samsung Galaxy A22. The chipset has the MediaTek Hyper Engine which makes the gaming performance enhanced. Further, Galaxy F22 runs on Android 11 alongside OneUI core 3.1. The CPU is an Octa-core (2×2.0 GHz & 6×1.8 GHz).
The model has two memory alternatives; 4/64GB and 6/128GB. The internal storage is also expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Camera and Sound
The handset features a quad-camera setup on the back which has a 48MP primary sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) support. Besides that, there is an 8MP ultrawide lens, and two 2MP depth and macro setups respectively.
Upfront, the waterdrop notch houses a 13MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. As for the video, it supports 1080p videos at 30fps via both rear and front cameras.
Moving on to the sound system, it has a Dolby Atmos audio and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Battery and Extras
Galaxy F22 is mechanized with a non-removable Li-Po 6,000mAh battery supporting 15W fast charging via USB Type-C port which can also be used for the data transfer. Previously, the Galaxy A22 4G had a 5,000mAh battery with the same charging support.
For biometrics, Samsung has gone with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other sensors are an accelerometer, gyro meter, and proximity. For connectivity, the handset has the support of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a GPS.
