Vivo has launched a new entry-level budget phone in Nepal. It goes by the name Vivo Y1s and it already started sale in India back in November. So, let’s see the specs, features, availability, and the official price of Vivo Y1s in Nepal.
Vivo Y1s Overview
Design and Display
Vivo Y1s flaunts a 6.22-inch IPS LCD panel with 1520×720 pixels resolution. It has around 89% screen-to-body ratio and a 19:9 aspect ratio. Further, it has an approximate PPI density of 270.
The handset weighs 161 grams while maintaining the dimension of 155.1×75.1×8.3mm. It has a glass front and a plastic back embedded inside a plastic frame. As per color options, there are two – Olive Black and Aurora Blue.
Performance and Memory
Powering the Y1s is a MediaTek MT6765 Helio P35 chipset based on a 12nm manufacturing process. There are two Hexa CPU cores – Cortex-A53 clocked at 2.35GHz and the rest clocked at 1.8GHz. Likewise, there is a PowerVR GE8320 for the graphics depart.
On the software front, there is Android 10 running on top of the Funtouch 10.5. There are two memory configurations of 2/32GB and 3/32GB of eMMC 5.1. The internal storage is also expandable up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Camera
There is a single back camera in the Vivo Y1s. It has a 13MP lens with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF, HDR, and panorama features. In addition, there is a LED flash in the module. The camera supports 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.
Likewise, there is a 5MP selfie shooter with an f/1.8 aperture inside a waterdrop notch. As per sound, it has a loudspeaker and supports a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Battery and Extras
Fueling the Vivo Y1s is a Li-Ion 4,030mAh battery. It has no fast charging service and there are rumors that it takes around two and a half hours for a full charge. That is a little drawback of this phone.
There is Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS) MicroUSB 2.0 for connectivity options. Other sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, and compass.
