Xiaomi’s latest flagship Mi 11 launched in Nepal with snapdragon 888

Xiaomi has finally launched its flagship – the Xiaomi Mi 11 Snapdragon 888 in Nepal. It will soon be released all over Nepal. Among all smartphones, Mi 11 is the first one that comes with Snapdragon 888 chipset.

Display and Design

Let’s start with Design and Display, this device consists of a 6.81” AMOLED with QHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 480 Hz touch sampling rate. 


The display of Mi 11 is A+ certified so, the device supports HDR10+ with maximum brightness above 1500nits. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.


Moving to the Camera, Mi 11 comes with a Triple camera setup at the rear. The 108MP is the main primary shooter, 13MP f/2.4 Ultra-wide lens, the last one is a 5MP f/2.4 lens with 2X Telephoto and Auto Focus capability for Macro Shots.


The selfie camera, the one that is positioned inside the punch hole at the front of the device, comes with a 20 MP f/2.4 selfie shooter.

Processor and Storage

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is the first smartphone that comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. Talking about the software, the device runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android. 

In terms of memory, the phone comes with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage or 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. The device doesn’t have a microSD slot.


Mi 11 comes with a 4,600 mAh battery that supports 55W fast-charging, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse charging. Xiaomi has decided to remove the charger in the retail box.


The company has included other various features in Mi 11 likes Harman Kardon-tuned stereo speakers,  dual 5G connectivity, improved Night Mode capabilities, Wi-Fi 6E support, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and all the navigation services.

Mi 11 Price and Launch Date in Nepal

Xiaomi Mi 11 was priced in China under CNY 3,999 (~$612) for the 8GB + 128GB variant, CNY 4,299 (~$657) for the 8GB + 256GB variant, and CNY 4,699 (~$719) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The Xiaomi Mi 11 price in Nepal is Rs. 89,999 for 8GB + 256GB storage. The other variants are not yet available in Nepal. The handset can be purchased for all Xiaomi authorized stores over Nepal.


It will be available in six different colors: Black, White, Blue, Khaki Vegan Leather, Purple Leather.
