6. Infinix Note 12
The Infinix Note 12 is the first item on our list. The new Infinix Note 12 tries to appeal to this group with its slick design and huge display among other things. Infinix is a fairly well-known brand in the budget phone market. The phone, which comes in three color options, is 7.9mm thin. The Note 12 weighs 184.5 grams, which doesn’t seem particularly weighty in the hand.
The front of the device features a tall 6.7′′ FHD AMOLED screen. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a fast refresh rate or a camera hole-punch cutout. However, it shouldn’t be a problem if your main focus with this phone is media consumption. Performance-wise, the Infinix Note 12 model sold in Nepal is equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G88 chipset; nevertheless, the device is also sold internationally with Helio G96 chipset.
It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in a single memory configuration. Additionally, the phone allows for a 5GB virtual RAM extension. Additionally, the 6-layer graphene cooling system and something called “XArena-Darlink 2.0” are included as gaming-specific features. According to Infinix, the latter can aid in system performance optimization for more fluid games.
Although the Infinix Note 12 launched with XOS 10.6, an Android 11-based operating system, it has now received an update to Android 12. In terms of cameras, you have a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a QVGA sensor in the back. A sizable 5000mAh battery that enables 33W rapid charging powers the phone. Dual stereo speakers with DTS audio are also included.

4. Redmi Note 12 4G
For Redmi Note 12 4G there has been a nice improvement on the display side of things. This time, Xiaomi increased the refresh rate from 90Hz to 120Hz, and they also increased the touch sampling rate from 180Hz to 240Hz. The Redmi Note 12 4G has a vastly distinct design language outside from this. It receives flat frames that seem considerably more contemporary in place of the curving side rails. Additionally, the camera island appears much more clean and ordered in this picture.
In terms of cameras, the Redmi Note 11 is essentially comparable. In actuality, Xiaomi has removed the 2MP depth sensor from its predecessor, but we’re not upset about it. Along with an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 13MP selfie camera, you get a 50MP JN1 main sensor. The 5000mAh battery and 33W charging support are the same.
The same 4 Cortex-A73 and 4 Cortex-A53 CPUs make up its octa-core CPU. However, Qualcomm has now overclocked the Cortex-A73 cores by 400MHz, which could lead to much snappier performance on a daily basis. The Redmi Note 12 4G runs on the more recent MIUI 14 (Android 13) in addition to the chipset itself. It’s interesting to note that Xiaomi has increased the base model’s capacity from 64GB to 128GB. The more recent Snapdragon 685 is what powers the Redmi Note 12 4G.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Specifications:
- Display: 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, FHD+, 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 3

3. POCO M5
If you want the best price-to-performance ratio in the under-$25,000 range, this is the one to buy. The MediaTek Helio G99 chip, which has a starting price of NPR 20,499, is the cause of this. It performs remarkably well. The 6nm-based Helio G99 processor has a Mali-G57 GPU, two Cortex-A76 processors running at 2.2 GHz each, and six Cortex-A55 processors running at 2.0 GHz.
By adjusting the settings, this enabled for 40 frames per second gameplay in our test on games like PUBG Mobile and Apex Legends Mobile. On its 90Hz IPS panel, you may also play high frame rate games like Alto’s Adventure.
The rear of the phone’s leather-like texture is another appealing feature. Although the phone is still constructed of plastic, its roughness gives it a luxury appearance. Given that it is a performance-focused phone, the camera arrangement is also not too bad. When there is adequate illumination, you can snap good pictures. A 5,000mAh battery keeps the phone running and supports 18W fast charging.
Poco M5 Specifications:
- Display: 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen, FHD+, 90Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 3
- Chipset: MediaTek Helio G99 4G (6nm mobile platform)
