Huawei Mate 30 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus. Samsung released its latest note 10 plus flagship model last month with the best it had to offer. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus was well received in the market, thanks to its brilliant AMOLED Display, outstanding hardware performance, and a great camera.

But the announcement of Huawei Mate 30 Pro from Huawei has brought a great competition to the Galaxy Note 10 Plus. With an amazing quad-camera setup that takes professional pictures, it is a perfect rival to the Galaxy Note 10 Plus.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus is a stunning phone, powered by Exynos 9825. You’ll get storage of 256 GB, 12 GB RAM on the base version and higher storage of 512 GB on the upper model. There is a quad-camera setup of two 12 MPs, one 16 MP and one TOF(Time Of Flight) VGA camera.

Mate 30 Pro is a glossy device with a lovely design having a notch screen, The storage and memory are the same as Note 10 Plus in Mate’s upper model. Huwaei has boasted great camera setup with super sensing 40 MP on back as well as a massive 32 MP on the front as well on Mate 30 Pro.

The grand looking flagship from Samsung which has a 6.8 inches Dynamic AMOLED display, with a resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels. The Mate 30 Pro is slightly smaller than the Note with a 6.53-inch display. Mate has 1176 x 2400 pixels and we come to know that its PPID of 409 is significantly less than 498 PPI of Note 10 Plus.

The difference more significant than pixel density is their display type. The OLED in Mate Pro will give more natural and improved colors.

Hardware and Performance

Mate 30 Pro is clearly the winner here. It even overpowers iPhone’s latest editions in multiple areas in terms of performance. Mate 30 is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 990, a killer CPU. Note 10 Plus’ Exynos 9825 is also near the Kirin but won’t be able to reach its exact standards.

Both have similar GPU specs, under the Mali-G76.

In this field, Mate comes a mile on top. Even though pixels aren’t the only thing to decide better camera, Mate’s Supersensing and TOF cameras with massive 40 megapixels are outstanding to hear.

Note 10 Plus has a pair of 12 MP camera and one 16 MP at the back. Mate’s quad-camera setup has 3x optical zoom compared to 2x of the Note.

Note 10 Plus has an upper hand here. It features a massive 12 GB RAM compared to Mate’s 8 GB. Storagewise Note 10 Plus reaches to 512 GB while Mate has maximum 256 GB capacity.

Battery and Charging

Huawei will have installed a massive Li-Po 4500 mAh, Non-removable battery in the Mate 30. Samsung’s Note 10 Plus also has a Non-removable 4300 mAh battery of Li-Ion.

We expect both phablets to be similar here, capable of providing enough juice to run a ton of things and still have plenty of charges left.

Software

One area, which is also one of the most significant for the device that Mate Pro is behind is its software. It won’t have any Google services. So No play store, no Play services.

But there can be workarounds like Huawei’s own app store.

Colors

The Mate 30 Pro will be available in Black, Space Silver, Cosmic Purple, and Emerald Green.

Samsung’s Note 10 Plus can be found in the market in special ‘Aura’ colors; Aura Glow, Aura White, Aura Black, and Aura Blue.

Pricing

Coincidentally, both Mate Pro, as well as Note 10 Plus, are priced equal, in about 1200 USD(1,38,000 NRS).
