Body
Beginning with the design, the Mi Home Security Camera brings a white body with a flat base which is then accompanied by a spherical top. It has a pill-shaped cutout with the primary camera lens that is flexible to be titled up or down – according to your need. You can insert a microSD card underneath the lens for the safe-keeping of the feed. Likewise, the speaker grille lies on the back for your convenience.
The device weighs 239 grams while embedding the dimension of 78×78×118mm. The camera is shockproof in case it falls without a warning. In addition, there is a quiet motor for a silent rotation of the lens.
Recording Capability
The device integrates a 2MP camera that can record 360̊ videos in horizontal mode. To note, the vertical mode is not available in 360̊ but only for 96̊. All these videos will be saved in 1080p resolution which will have a clear vision even in the frames since the camera comes with a Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) feature.
Moreover, there are 8 bulbs with 940nm infrared LEDs each to help with night vision. You can even get notified of any kind of movement the surveillance area is covering.
