Design
The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 recently passed through the FCC, revealing its key specs and other details before the launch. The Nord-branded earbuds resemble the original Buds, though they have given up on the bottom stem. Instead, the Buds 2 sports a circular base at the bottom while preserving its in-ear appearance.
Battery Life
The charging case, has a 480mAh battery and measurements of 22.27 x 9.29 x 0.11 mm. This is the same size as the Nord Buds case, which we found to be quite bulky. It has a USB-C port for charging on the back. There’s no wireless charging coil, which is not surprising since the Nord Buds 2 is catered to audiences on a budget. The 41mAh battery within each earbud is the same as the ones found in the original Nord-branded models.
The Buds 2 deliver the same battery life as its predecessor: 6 hours of music playback that can be extended to 30 hours with the carrying case.
Audio
The earbuds integrate 12.4 mm titanium dynamic driver which were used previously in OnePlus Nord Buds. The audio codec support is SBC and AAC. Further, the buds support Dolby Atmos and feature Several Sound Master EQ presets as well. This helps you tune the audio according to your needs. The earbuds also has AI noise Cancellation.
