OnePlus Nord N200 price in Nepal, specs & availability

The successor of the OnePlus Nord N100 has been launched in the USA. Though the brand just launched the One Plus Nord CE 5G, it almost immediately announced the new budget-smartphone from the Nord series. The OnePlus Nord N200 is the latest Nord installment from OnePlus and is rebranded smartphone from Oppo A93. Design and Display

The new Nord smartphone features a 6.49-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution that boasts a 90Hz refresh rate. The plastic frame has the dimension of 163.1 x 74.9 x 8.3 mm accompanied by the glass front protected by the Gorilla Glass 3. The device weighs around 189g.

The 1080×2400 pixels resolutions give us the screen-to-body ratio of 83.2% and the aspect ratio of 20:9. Furthermore, the PPI density is approximately 406. The only color option in the phone is Quantum Blue which is without a doubt, a very premium color.

Performance and Memory

Nord N200 is powered up with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G based on an 8nm mobile platform chipset. However, its successor N100 had the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460. The Octa-core CPU has two 2.0GHz Kryo 460 and six 1.8GHz Kryo 460 cores. The graphic processor used on the device is Adreno 619.

The Android 11 on top of OxygenOS 11 has been a highlight for the Nord series which continues in the N200 as well. The 4GB RAM in the device is teamed up with 64GB internal storage of UFS 2.1. It is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.

Camera and Sound

The Nord legacy is carried on with a triple camera set up in the back in a square camera bump which also includes a LED flash. There is a 13MP primary shooter with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth lens with f/2.4 aperture each. The video support is up to 1080p at 30fps and has a gyro-EIS system as well. Moreover, there is an HDR and panorama mode you can enjoy as well.

Moving on the front camera, there is a 16MP selfie capturer with f/2.1 aperture which also supports 1080p video shoot at 30fps. Unfortunately, the front camera supports only HDR but no panorama mode.

For sound, there is a stereo speaker system and yes it has outgrown the initial Nord series rule of no 3.5mm headphone jack port. The only Nord series smartphones to have the port are OnePlus Nord CE 5G and OnePlus Nord N200.

Battery and Extras

Backing up the handset is a massive non-removable Lithium Polymer battery of 5,00mAh power with the 18W fast charging support. However, there is no wireless charging system in the Nord N200. The charging is done through a USB Type-C port which can also be used for data transfer purposes.

For biometrics, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that has not received an official IP rating yet. Other sensors are an accelerometer, gyro meter, proximity, and a compass. For connectivity, there are Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS), and NFC support.
