Oppo unveiled a new smartphone in its A-series in February. This is an entry-level mid-range phone that started sale from Malaysia. And now, Oppo Nepal has launched the device inside the Nepali market. In this post, we will dig into the specs, features, availability, and the official price of Oppo A76 in Nepal.

Display and Design
The new Oppo A76 flaunts a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz of refresh rate. There is a typical brightness of 480nits and HBM brightness of 600nits. It boasts 720×1612-pixel resolution and the pixel density remain 269. Above the screen, there is a left-aligned punch-hole cutout that holds the front-facing camera.
The handset weighs 189 grams while the dimension remains 164.4×75.7×8.4mm. The rear panel has a rectangular island that holds the front-facing camera. There are two color options available – Glowing Black and Glowing Blue.
Performance and Memory
Powering the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G based on a 6nm fabrication process. It integrates an octa-core CPU with four Kryo 265 Gold and four Kryo 265 Silver cores clocked at the speed of 2.4GHz and 1.9GHz respectively. Likewise, the graphics depart is handled by Adreno 610 processor.
As per memory, there is a single configuration – 6/128GB of UFS 2.1. You can also expand your RAM up to 5GB with the help of virtual RAM. Unfortunately, there is no microSD card slot to expand the internal memory forward. Over the software front, Oppo A76 boots on Android 11 on top of ColorOS 11.1.
Camera and Audio
Under the hood, there is a dual-camera setup at the back panel of the device. It has a 13MP primary lens with an f/2.2 aperture, 1.12-microns pixel capacity, and PDAF support. Similarly, there is a 2MP lens for portrait shots that completes the setup. The camera island also holds a LED flash for better night shots.
Upfront, there is an 8MP selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture. As mentioned earlier, this lens lies above the screen in a left-aligned punch-hole cutout. Both front and back cameras are capable of 1080p videos at the rate of 30 frames per second. On the audio front, there is a loudspeaker system. You can also see a 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls.

Fueling the A76 is a Li-Po 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The charging is done via the USB Type-C 2.0 which can also be used for data transfer. For biometrics, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a software-based face unlock. Other sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, and compass. Likewise, there is Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, QZSS).
