Poco X5 Pro; Overview
Design And Display
To start off, the Poco X5 Pro features a stunning 10-bit OLED display. Similar to its predecessor, the device has a 6.67-inch screen with a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The X5 Pro also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and uses a 1920Hz PWM dimming. The phone comes with a Gorilla Glass 5 at the front to prevent unintentional drops and scratches.
The Poco X5 Pro’s appearance isn’t necessarily different from that of its predecessor in terms of design. It has flat frames and keeps the wide camera module design on the back.
Similar to that, it comes in three different colors: Black, blue, and Poco Yellow.
Cameras Features
Moving on, let’s talk about the smartphone’s triple camera configuration on the back. The main camera has a Samsung 108MP ISOCELL HM2 sensor, along with an 8MP wide-angle and a 2MP macro sensor. Users can record 4K videos from the back camera thanks to the improved Snapdragon 778G chip.
A 16MP camera is housed in the punch-hole cutout on the front of the device for selfies and video calling.
Battery
The phone is powered by 5,000mAh battery. It supports 67W rapid charging. For biometric options, it offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a face unlock.
Performance
Performance-wise, the X5 Pro significantly outperforms its predecessor. Poco has improved compared to it’s previous model and included the Snapdragon 778G on the X5 Pro this year.
There are two memory options available of this device which are 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. A microSD card slot is present on each of these devices for memory expansion.
Software-wise, it is built on Android 12 and pre-installed with the most recent MIUI skin, MIUI 14.
