Display and Design
Starting from the design, Realme C21 flaunts a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a typical brightness level of 400 nits. The model has 1600×720 pixels of resolution and boasts an 80.8% screen-to-body ratio. Further, it has an approximate PPI density of 270 and an aspect ratio of 20:9.
C21 weighs 190 grams and embeds a glass front inside a plastic frame with a plastic back. There is a two-color variation available for the phone – Cross Black and Cross Blue.
Performance and Memory
Under the hood, MediaTek Helio G35 is powering up the device. It is based on a 12nm manufacturing process with an octa-core CPU of Cortex-A53 cores out of which four are clocked at the speed of 2.3GHz and the rest at 1.8GHz. Likewise, pairing up with the CPU is the PowerVR GE8320 graphics processor.
Moving on, Realme C21 has two memory configurations – 3/32GB and 4/64GB. The internal storage is of eMMC 5.1 and can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot. On the software front, it runs on Android 10 on top of the Realme UI.
Camera
As per optics, there is a triple camera setup with a 13MP primary camera of f/2.2 aperture. It is 26mm wide with 1.12 microns pixel capacity. Others are two 2MP lenses with f/2.4 aperture each for macro and portrait shots. The camera module also holds a LED flash for night shots.
Upfront, there lies a 5MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture and 1.12 microns pixels capacity. Both rear and front cameras can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.
Battery and Extras
Fueling the device is a massive 5,000mAh battery cell with 10W charging support. It falls in the Lithium Polymer category and supports reverse charging. The charging and data transfer both are done by MicroUSB 2.0. Further, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics. Other sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, and compass.
For wireless connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS), and FM radio. It also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls conversations.
