Realme has launched a new budget smartphone in its market in Indonesia. It succeeds last year’s Realme C21 and has already started the sale in the Indian market as well. Here, we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of Realme C31 in Nepal.
Realme C31 Overview
Display and Design
The new Realme C31 sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD resolution. It boasts a 60Hz of refresh rate which is a little disappointing. It has a 720×1600-pixel capacity and 270-pixel density. Above the screen, there is a teardrop notch that holds the front-facing camera.
The device weighs 197 grams and measures 8.4mm in thickness. The design of the C31 is very similar to the premium Realme GT 2 series as well. It provides us with a very comfortable grip since it comes with curved sides. Further, you can see it in two color options – Dark Green and Light Silver.
Performance and Memory
Under the hood, the device boots on Android 11 on top of Realme UI 2.0. The system then powers up with a Unisoc Tiger T612 processor based on a 12nm manufacturing process. It integrates an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A75 and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at the speed of 1.8GHz. Moreover, it has Arm’s Mali-G57 chipset for graphics.
As per memory, there are two configurations available for the handset – 3/32GB and 4/64GB of UFS 2.2. You can also expand the internal storage up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Camera and Audio
Moving on, there is a triple camera setup on the device. It is led by a 13MP primary lens of f/2.2 aperture and Auto-Focus support. Likewise, you can see a 2MP sensor for macro shots and a 0.3MP for portraits. It can record 1080p videos at the rate of 30 frames per second.
Upfront, there is a 5MP selfie snapper lying inside the aforementioned tear-drop notch above the screen. Lastly, there is a loudspeaker system for audio which is accompanied by a 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls.

Fueling the model is a non-removable Li-Po 5,000mAh battery cell that charges up via a micro USB port. For biometrics, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner followed by a software-based face unlock. Other sensors include an accelerometer and proximity. Moreover, it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS), and NFC for connectivity.
