Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G launched with 33W fast charging

We had previously discussed the Realme Narzo 50 5G which was released alongside its Pro version – Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G. Both bring the MediaTek processors and are already starting the sale in India. In this post, we will see the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G in Nepal.

Display and Design

Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz of refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. It boasts 1080×2400-pixels resolution and 411 PPI density. Then, the screen gets its protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The phone has a quite sleek design conserving this is a mid-range gaming phone. It weighs 181 grams and measures 8mm in thickness. Further, there are two color options – Hyper Blue and Hyper Black.

Performance and Memory

The handset is powered up with MediaTek Dimensity 920. It is a 6nm chipset with an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A78 (@2.5GHz) and six Cortex-A55 (2.0GHz) cores coupled with Arm’s Mali-G68 MC4 for graphics. Realme claims that this is the most powerful 5G chipset to be used on a mid-range phone. Likewise, the device runs on Android 12 on top of Realme UI 3.0.

There are two RAM configurations of 6 and 8GB and both are teamed up with a 128 internal storage with UFS 2.2. Unfortunately, there is no card slot for you to expand the memory but can use the 5GB virtual RAM if needed.

Moreover, you can see a five-layer cooling setup in the device which covers all the heat source components inside it. It is supposed to reduce the model’s core temperature by 10 degrees.

Camera and Audio

Over to the optical front, there are three rear cameras embedded inside a familiar rectangular camera bump. The setup is led by a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 0.8-microns pixel capacity, and PDAF support. It is then followed by an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view. Finally, the setup is completed with a 2MP macro shooter.

On the front, there is a 16MP selfie snapper with an f/2.4 aperture. Both rear and front cameras can record videos up to 1080p at 30 frames per second. Likewise, there is a loudspeaker system with stereo speakers that tune out 24-bit/192kHz audio which means it supports Dolby Atmos. You can also use the 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls.

Battery and Extras

Fueling the Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G is a non-removable Li-Po 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The charger is included in the box which is a good thing considering that most phones are just leaving it behind and we need to buy it separately. Realme claims that you can charge your phone from 0 to 50% in just 31 minutes.

Moreover, there is an optical under-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics. In addition, you can also use the sensor for measuring your heart rate. Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Lastly, the connectivity options list out as Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS), and USB Type-C 2.0.
