Samsung announced a new A series phone namely Samsung Galaxy A20 with the surprising price tag of NRs. 20,490/- in Nepal. This is the third smartphone from Samsung in the Galaxy A series for this year. Samsung A20 is topped up with a brilliant camera, gorgeous display, a satisfying processor and excellent battery supply.
Design
The phone is made out of a plastic body and glass on the front. The built quality of the phone is pretty nice for this price point. However, the plastic back is likely to get little scratches with the passage of time. The device has a sleek curvy design which makes the device easy to hold on hand. On the right side of the phone, there exists volume buttons and a power button. Similarly, on the left side, a triple slot tray is provided, where 2 SIM and a microSD card can be inserted at the same time.
Display
The display is a 6.4 inch super AMOLED panel with the screen resolution of 1560*720 pixels. The display comprises of 268 PPI so the viewing experience is good and shows deeper black and brighter screen. The handset consists of a teardrop notch for selfie camera with 84.79% screen to body ratio. The phone is made available in three attractive color variant: black, blue & red.
Performance
The handset runs on Exynos 7884 processor with the processing speed 1.6GHz. It is an Octa-core 64 bit processor. For the graphics card, Mali-G71 MP2 is used which is nice for playing games and gets the job done. Talking about the software, the device runs on the latest android version 9.0 with Samsung One UI. Samsung One UI is an awesome new software overlay in Samsung industries as it offers to do the task easily and provides an enjoyable environment.
Also, the UI makes easy for one-handed purpose. Playing games on this device is a pretty good experience with its AMOLED screen and provided GPU. The handset is powered by a massive 4000 mAh Li-Ion battery which is enough to power the device for full day. For the processor like this and average screen resolution, the battery performs well. In addition, the phone is provided with quick charge within the box itself. It is a 15W fast charging which can charge the device really fast at the mean time. As a matter of fact, the battery performance often varies according to the network environment and usage pattern.

The year 2019 has been an innovative year for smartphone departments. Most of the devices adopted USB Type-C and eliminated headphone jack. Likewise, this smartphone has USB Type-C cable for charging and transferring the data. Moreover, Bluetooth connectivity for connecting to wireless devices is available.
The fingerprint sensor at the back is provided for security purpose. The position of the fingerprint sensor is at the exact right place. So, reachability is easy but the sensor works little slowly. It takes some time that can be irritating to the users.
Samsung claims to provide an enhanced audio experience. The audio tech is powered by Dolby Atmos which makes watching movies and playing games more realistic.
