Design and Display
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite features an 8.7-inch TFT panel while boasting an 81.1% screen-to-body ratio. It also has 800×1340 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 5:3. In addition, there is an approximate PPI density of 179.
As per the design, it has an aluminum frame binding the glass front. But at the back, it has the same aluminum body. However, the ends have a plastic finish. There are thick bezels at the top and bottom of the device, but the side edges have comparatively thin ones. Further, it weighs 366g within the dimension of 212.5×124.7×8mm.

Performance and Memory
Powering the tab is a MediaTek Helio P22T chipset based on a 12nm manufacturing process. It has an octa-core CPU of four Cortex-A53 clocked on 2.3GHz and four Cortex-A53 clocked on 1.8GHz. In addition, the graphics end is handled by the PowerVR GE8320.
On the software front, it also runs within Android 11 running on top of Samsung’s in-house One UI 3.1. Moving on, there are two memory options – 3/32GB and 4/64GB, you can choose while buying. You can also expand the internal storage via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Camera and Battery
For the optics, there is an 8MP lens with Auto Focus or AF at the rear panel. Likewise, there is a 2MP selfie shooter inside the top bezel at the front. Further, the video can be recorded up to 1080p resolution from the rear camera at 30 frames per second.
Under the hood, it packs a non-removable 5,100mAh battery of lithium polymer category. In addition, the charging is done via a USB Type-C port at the bottom of the device with a 15W adapter doesn’t include inside the box.
Rest of the specs
There is a stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos audio in the Tab A7 Lite. The lower edge has a speaker, mic, 3.5mm earphone jack, and USB Type-C port. Likewise, in the upper edge, there is a speaker and a light sensor.
The next mic is on the right side below the volume buttons and power button arranged vertically. Moreover, there is a microSD card slot on the left with a SIM slot.
For wireless connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO). Further, there is an accelerometer and compass for additional sensors.
