Samsung recently launched some devices in Nepal. As we have been watching the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 trends for a month now, these two smartphones are not the only ones to start the sale soon in Nepal. Here, we will discuss the specifications, features, availability, and the official price of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 in Nepal.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Overview

Design and Display

The new Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 has two display sizes with different resolutions. It has a 1.2-inch (40mm) display with 396×396 pixels resolution and a 1.4-inch (44mm) display with 450×450 pixels resolution. Both are circular with smaller bezels in comparison with the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. The display not rotating since the Classic version packs rotating one. Further, the screen gets protection from the Corning Gorilla Glass DX+.

Both display models weigh different. While the 40mm model weighs 25.6 grams, the 44mm model weighs 30.3 grams. Both are IP68 certified for water and dust resistivity up to 5ATM. Moreover, there lies stainless steel frame instead of aluminum to cut the price. There are two color configurations – Black and White. In addition, 40mm features an extra Pink version while 44mm comes in a Green color as well.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, Samsung’s in-house Exynos W920 powers the device. The chipset is based on a 5nm manufacturing process with a dual-core CPU clocked at the maximum speed of 1.6GHz. It is further accompanied by Arm’s Mali G68 graphics processor.

There is a 1.5GB RAM coupled with 16GB of internal storage in the memory depart. Likewise, it runs on Android Wear OS on top of One UI Watch 3 skin on the software front. This enhances battery life and app loading speed alongside better animation.

Health Features

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 packs the Samsung BioActive Sensor which combines optical heart rate, electrical heart, and bioelectrical impedance analysis. They can monitor your PPG (detecting volume and blood flow), ECG (checking to hear rhythm and electrical activity), and BIA (method of accessing your body compositing such as body fat).

Moving on, there is an improved version of the sleep tracker inside the Galaxy Watch 4 which can detect snores as well. It will monitor your SpO2 level even in your sleep time. Lastly, it is integrated with more than 90 different exercise modes including some standard ones like running and swimming.

Rest of the Specs

The battery also varies in the two display models. Where the 40mm model packs a 247mAh battery cell, the 44mm has a larger 361mAh one. However, both support WPC-based wireless charging which gives the battery life up to 40 hours with a single charge. To juice up fully, it takes approximately hours or two.

The watch has 4G LTE, 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi, in-built GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC for connectivity.
