A sneak peek at the new Vivo V21; Now available in Nepal

Vivo has finally decided to enter the Vivo V21 in the Nepali market at the price of NPR 49,999. As we know that its predecessor Vivo V20 is still a hit on the Nepali market. Now, we expect the new Vivo V21 to keep on the legacy. Here, we’ll discuss the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of the Vivo V21 in Nepal.

Vivo V21 Overview

Design and Display

Vivo V21 sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel with full HD resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It has Samsung’s in-house E3 display with HDR10+ contents. In addition, it has a massive peak brightness of 800-nits under High Brightness Mode.

The back of the Vivo V21 has a Matte Glass design like that of the V20. However, the weight and thickness differ with the color variations. There are two color options – Dusk Blue (7.29mm thick and 176g weight) and Sunset Dazzle (7.39mm thick and 177g weight).

Performance and Memory

Powering the Vivo V21 is the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset based on a 7nm manufacturing process. There is an octa-core CPU of dual-core Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.4GHz and Hexa-core Cortex-A55 clocked at 2.0GHz. As per graphics, there is Arm’s Mali-G57 processor for better performance.

Further, Vivo V21 comes in a single memory configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The brand has also mentioned about Extended RAM feature of up to 3GB using internal storage. At the software front, there is Android 11 on top of FunTouch OS 11.1.

Camera

As per Optics, there is a triple camera setup at the back which also has the Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) facility. It sports stability for the primary sensor of 64MP of f/1.79 aperture. Further, completing the setup is an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro shooters.

Likewise, there is a 44MP selfie capturer at the front which also has an OIS facility. I addition, there is a dual-LED flashlight for dark shots. Moreover, both rear and front cameras can record 4K videos at 30 frames per second.

Battery and Extras

Fueling the V21 is a 4,000mAh battery cell with 33W fast charging support. The charging is done via a USB Type-C slot which can also be used for data transfer purposes. For biometrics, there is an optical under-display fingerprint sensor.

Moreover, there is a down-firing single speaker for audio in the Vivo V21. Moving on there is a hybrid SIM slot, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless connectivity.
