Lenovo Legion Pro Price in Nepal; Lenovo, a mobile phone manufacturing company, has launched another flagship product, Lenovo Legion Pro, similar to its predecessor Lenovo Legion Duel and running on GSM, LTE, CDMA and HSPA network technologies. It is essentially the same smartphone, only with more RAM and storage options. Other than that, they have the same design, the same GPU, the same high-end processor, etc. This is the dual SIM compatible mobile phone, the dimensions were not disclosed and it is easy to use a smartphone that is useful when talking to other people or surfing the internet. This smartphone has unique features and specifications and has an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. You can enjoy videos, movies, and images on the screen.

After months of leaks, rumours, and teasers, Lenovo finally released its first gaming smartphone today: Lenovo Legion Pro. With the launch, it is the world’s first device equipped with the SD865 + chipset.

Lenovo Legion Pro Overview

Design and Display

In terms of design, we have the same gamer-centric design that we had in the duel with Lenovo Legion. If you liked the first one, you will surely feel at home here since both are the same, it is impossible to say which is which. The design features pops of vibrant colours that attempt to mimic the RGB lighting associated with gaming PC versions. Bright coloured accents appear from back to front. There are two cameras on the back of this smartphone, the position of which is very different from other smartphones of this type.

The cameras were positioned near the centre position of the stern. Lenovo claims to have taken this step to prevent enthusiasts from smearing the camera while holding the phone horizontally. For a similar reason, Lenovo also added the pop-up selfie camera and an additional USB-C port on the side. It’s about making room for good ergonomics. With the side pop-up camera, enthusiasts can record comments while playing games.

Cameras

The cameras are exactly the same as in Lenovo Legion Duel. It’s the same dual-camera setup on the back and the same side-mounted pop-up selfie camera. The dual rear camera setup includes a 64-megapixel main camera with an f / 1.9 aperture and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f / 2.2 aperture. This setting can record videos with a maximum of 4k @ 30fps. You also get HDR and Panoroma for photos.

Selfies are taken up by a 20-megapixel side-mount motorized pop-up camera with a 1: 2.2 aperture. Videos are limited to 4k @ 30fps. You also get HDR for photos.

Ultrasonic firing buttons

In terms of ergonomics, the ultrasonic fire buttons are also part of Lenovo Legion Pro. This is basically the same implementation as Air Release on the Asus Rog 3 phone. The ultrasonic firing buttons are basically touched points located on the side of the smartphone. These points can be programmed to act as game controls.

Hardware and Software

The history of gaming smartphones was all about offering very high-end specs that would completely destroy any Android game that got its way. In this research, gaming smartphones are often placed at the top of the list of best performing Android smartphones. Lenovo Legion Pro is not a problem. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 plus octa-core processor, which is 10% faster than the regular Snapdragon 865 processor.

An Adreno 650 graphics processing unit is other performance-enhancing features. It has 8GB, 12GB or 16GB RAM options, 128GB, 256GB or 512GB storage options. You also get a non-removable 5000mAh battery.

The Lenovo Legion Pro offers different loading speeds depending on the memory / RAM option you choose. However, with the maximum 16GB / 512GB version, the maximum upload speed is 90W. Please note that this 90W fast charge can only be achieved with two chargers. This means that you have to connect the chargers to the two ports of the smartphone. The 90W fast charge should provide a 50% charge in 10 minutes and 100% charge in 30 minutes.

Additional fast charging capabilities are 65 W for variants with 12 GB of RAM and 45 W for variants with 8 GB of RAM.

On the software side, Lenovo Legion Pro runs Legion OS / ZUI12 on the Android 10 operating system.

What makes Lenovo Legion Pro a perfect smartphone for gaming?

As a gaming smartphone, Lenovo has tried its best to improve the gaming experience. It comes with a haptic motor that allows gamers to get “realistic” haptic feedback while the phone is held horizontally.

It also comes with two ultrasonic fire buttons built into the side of the phone. There are also two front speakers so you have clear sound and don’t cover the speakers while gaming.

There is also liquid cooling technology, as well as copper tubing to dissipate heat. It ensures that the smartphone does not get hot during intense games or heavy use. All gaming smartphones are now equipped with this feature.

The smartphone is part of the company’s Legion gaming product line, which is already a well-established series in the gaming PC market. The company has affixed the Legion brand “Y” logo to the back of the smartphone. The device also has RGB lights on the back that add a cool gaming phone vibe.

The Lenovo Legion Pro has two USB Type-C ports, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, WLAN 6, and more. Note that there is no headphone jack. The internet connection is limited to 5G, which means that enthusiasts can stream, download, and upload at 5G speeds as long as they are in an area covered by 5G.

Xiaomi MI 10 Ultra: Smartphone with 120x Ultra-Zoom Camera

Xiaomi MI 10 Ultra Price in Nepal; A rumour about Xiaomi’s Mi 10 Ultra have swirled this week, and the company has now officially announced the product. Xiaomi revealed the main features of its long-awaited phone in a press release and a series of tweets. “Everything you can imagine, Mi 10 Ultra has it,” the company said. To mark the occasion “10th anniversary“, the company launched a new high-end phone, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra.

The Ultra shares some specs with its sister model, the Mi 10 Pro, which launched in February, but at least in terms of specs, it dramatically improves camera play. Both devices are equipped with a quad camera, which includes short and long telephoto lenses, as well as an ultra-wide camera. However, the Mi 10 Ultra offers improvements in several key areas.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra Overview

Design

The Mi 10 Ultra is an attractive 2020 Android phone, but quite conventional. On the front, there is a pinhole camera built into the upper left corner of a full screen. The left and right edges of the screen curve over and around the sides, which looks good even when it’s not always comfortable for users and can cause the screen to accidentally touch. The back has to do with the camera module. On the left side, there are four sensors and a black coated flash module arranged in a vertical line. The top camera, which has been magnified 120x, also has a silver border for better emphasis.

For the colours, you can choose between obsidian black and mercury silver. There is also a transparent edit which is a bit of a misleading name. Rather than letting you see the components under the back of the phone, Xiaomi has traced them to the back to give the internals like NFC and wireless charging coils a more abstract look.

Display

With a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED panel, the Mi 10 Ultra has nearly identical specs to the Mi 10 Pro and is slightly smaller than competing 6.8-6.9-inch displays. The difference is that it achieves a 120Hz refresh rate compared to the Pro’s 90Hz, a slight increase in vertical resolution and HDR10 + and 10-bit colours for more vivid playback of videos and the like.

The 1080 x 2400 resolution means that the Mi 10 Ultra is still an FHD + phone rather than the S20 series, Note 20 Ultra and OnePlus 8 Pro 4K displays. However, since 4K plus 120Hz equates to short battery life, users can understand that Xiaomi is not ready to make full use of the screen to keep the phone running for longer between visits via the charging cable.

Camera

If you lower the specifications of the camera, it seems that the Mi 10 Ultra has an older version. A 48-megapixel sensor is used in the main camera instead of the 108-megapixel sensor in the Mi 10 Pro. While this is a drawback on paper for the lower-spec model, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Xiaomi claims that “binning technology” includes “four-in-one superpixels” camera. Also, huge 108-megapixel cameras have proven difficult for phones in the past, so switching to 48-megapixel cameras is probably more stable.

The 20MP ultra-wide-angle and 12MP 2x zoom portrait cameras on the Mi 10 Ultra are the same as those on the Mi 10 Pro. The big difference is the new 48MP 5x zoom telephoto lens, which apparently can reach a maximum magnification of 120x. That’s 20% more than the 100x spatial zoom on the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the former champion of smartphone zoom technology.

To convince potential customers of the quality of the sensors, Xiaomi gave the cell phone camera reviewer DXOMark a phone for evaluation, in which it scored 130 points on the graph and beat the Huawei P40 Pro. DXOMark still has to review the Note 20 Ultra, which we also look forward to. Still, it’s an impressive feat.

CPU & Performance

The Mi 10 Ultra uses the same chipset Snapdragon 865 as the rest of the Mi 10 series. Xiaomi has decided not to use the Snapdragon 865 Plus, which can cost performance compared to the new Android flagships. That said, the 865 chip means that 5G below 6GHz is a given, and mmWave 5G is an option too.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra works with MIUI based on Android 10 and offers 128 GB of built-in memory. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra measures 162.38 x 75.04 x 9.45 mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 221.80 grams. It was presented in Obsidian Black, Mercury Silver and Transparent Edition colours. This is not one of our favourite Android skins as it adds a lot to the stock experience, but is still eye-catching, with an emphasis on modifying the device, running only the most important applications.

There are four options for RAM and storage, the smallest is 8GB / 128GB, and the largest is 16GB / 512GB. Hope this means a lot of speed and room for any task to use the phone.

Battery

The battery capacity of the Mi 10 Ultra is 4,500 mAh. It looks like it is the same cell as the Mi 10 Pro, but it is not. The Mi 10 Ultra actually contains two cells with the same combined capacity. The reason is that the phone can support the new 120W Mi turbocharging standard, which Xiaomi claims will fill the phone to the brim in 23 minutes. It is very fast compared to most other fast chargers. Samsung’s 25W bricks and OnePlus’ 30W chargers are respectable, but they have nothing to do with it.

Head rotation speeds don’t stop there. The Mi 10 Ultra also has a 50W wireless charging that can be charged to 100% in 40 minutes. The best wireless charging technology we’ve tested is OnePlus’ 30W wireless charging on the OnePlus 8 Pro, but Xiaomi has also broken records here.

Lastly, there is a 10W reverse wireless charging. This allows you to activate any compatible wireless earbuds, smartwatches, or other wireless charging accessories from the Mi 10 Ultra’s battery, which might be required proves to be a lifesaver in an emergency.

Connectivity

The connectivity options of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra include Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac / Ja, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, infrared and USB Type C. The sensors of the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light, compass/magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and in-display fingerprint sensor. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra supports face unlock.

You can’t help but respect Xiaomi for the technology it has put into the Mi 10 Ultra. Charging technology will define the class as long as it performs as promised, and the camera setup has great potential to beat the competition.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is now available in China with the starting price for the base 8/128GB variant is kept ¥5,299 which roughly around 1 lakhs here in Nepal. Adding those taxes and all, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra price in Nepal will be around Rs. 1,04,132 for the base variant. But there is no official confirmation for the launch of this device in Nepal.

OnePlus Nord Price in Nepal: Now available for pre-order

OnePlus Nord Price in Nepal; OnePlus Nord is an impressive flagship known for its excellent camera setup, high performance, large battery with Warp charging technology, great display, and slim design. Plus, you get 5G support, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and the latest version of Android (Q). However, non-expandable storage can be a hindrance for some users.

It’s rare for a smartphone to surprise the world with its arrival unless a certain Cupertino giant made it. But the OnePlus Nord is undoubtedly an exception. It’s a cheap smartphone that just works. At the lowest price, the 12GB RAM upgraded variant of the OnePlus Nord is relatively compact by current standards. However, underneath the glass is a well-oiled machine that is set up to do its job without distraction. That’s basically what this OnePlus device embodies. How is the OnePlus Nord designed? Let’s find out –

OnePlus Nord Overview

Design and Display

Design is definitely a place that OnePlus seems to have invested its heart and soul. For choosing colours and determining the form factor, this is where Nord is uniquely located. There is currently no other portable compact smartphone, and this is becoming an obvious choice for them. The size is significantly smaller than the OnePlus 8, but also larger because the 20: 9 aspect ratio had to be maintained. So while you can easily reach the notification shade with one hand, you can’t hit enter on the keyboard with your thumb. The Nord also gets the physical alarm slider on the right, and its small size means left-handed people can easily reach it too. While the front and back are reinforced with Gorilla Glass 5, the frame itself is polished plastic. It’s really smooth like the aluminium frames on its flagship.

The OnePlus Nord is another great highlight. It’s a key ingredient in making the experience smoother and faster, especially for the 90Hz refresh that is applied through the UI, standard apps, and even some third-party apps like Instagram and Facebook. Since the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro take the curvy road, the Nord gives an exit. The panel is also HDR10 + certified and achieves a maximum brightness of 820 nits and a minimum of 8 nits. It could have been a bit brighter, but HDR on Netflix and other OTT apps is definitely a price advantage. The double hole cameras in the upper left corner of the screen only bothered when playing a game. While the video doesn’t occupy the area around cameras, games certainly do, and the buttons are often hidden behind the cameras, which is quite annoying.

Performance

The OnePlus Nord may not have the best silicon inside it, but it feels just as fast as its flagship siblings that launched this year. It’s like a downsized OnePlus 7T in the sense that the 90Hz display and OxygenOS UI are flat too. Much of the credit goes to the Snapdragon 765G. The datasheet has more to do with the 8 series flagship chips than the 7 and 6 series silicon.

Compared to the previous best mid-range (Poco X2, Realme 6 Pro), the OnePlus Nord is ahead, but as already mentioned, only around 10-12%. Which is not revolutionary for this segment, like last year’s Snapdragon 730. And when you have to compete with high-end offerings like the OnePlus 8 and Realme X3 SuperZoom, the gap between the mid-range and the flagship is still just as big, and while Qualcomm announces that the 765G closes that gap, we don’t really see it.

Software

OxygenOS on OnePlus Nord is the same as OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. Every little feature available on the 8 and 8 Pro is also available in the Nord. Well, everything except the phone and the messaging app, which remains unexplained. But everything works just as well as on its flagship devices. And that’s exactly what most people buy when they buy an OnePlus device, and it’s a device that the Nord fixes.

Speed, customizations, and minimal aesthetics are guaranteed even with a slower processor. It corrects the errors that exist in the OnePlus 8 Pro. The 8 Pro always freezes while browsing applications such as Instagram, Facebook or Chrome. The Nord does not have those problems.

Camera

OnePlus has created a lot of buzz around the camera, but the spec sheet is exactly what you would expect from a mid-range phone. This includes an OIS-stabilized 48MP Sony IMX586 camera, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide lens and two 2MP cameras for macro and portrait shots. At first glance, the camera system is nothing unusual. We see the 48 + 8 + 2 + 2MP stack in the center area all the time. Oh, and there are two cameras up front. OIS is certainly useful, whereas a telephoto lens in the mix.

There are also some strange bugs. For one thing, the OnePlus Nord can’t run 4K at 60fps from the rear camera, but rather from the front. When asked, OnePlus said there are thermal issues when 4K @ 60FPs is on. As soon as this is discovered, the feature will be available via an update. The inclusion of a 2-megapixel macro camera is also curious, while the brand is very good at doing it with the primary camera, as it does with the OnePlus 8 Pro. The results are also much better with the 48-megapixel lens, and OnePlus could have reduced costs by excluding the fourth chamber.

The 48-megapixel primary camera offers the best performance, where detail and sharpness are good enough to show on the small screen. 8MP ultra-wide lens takes second place with perhaps the best dynamics zone in this segment. However, the other two lenses degrade the overall performance of the camera. The Nightscape mode is pretty well set up too, and you’ll get sharp images in low light as long as you don’t get close. Portraits are a bit softer on details, but colours are fair. In terms of videos, the OnePlus Nord doesn’t suffer from the focusing issues that we found with the OnePlus Nord. And 1080p with 60 FPS is only acceptable compared to mid-range phones in this segment.

Battery

The Nord’s 4115 mAh battery isn’t the smartphone’s best feature, but the Warp 30w charger is. Despite a smaller screen, the Nord is very power-hungry. A charge of just 20 minutes was enough to charge the phone between 15% and 50%, which is quite modest. Battery usage while playing COD Mobile was around 8% after 15 minutes (on the highest setting), and 30 minutes of watching Grand Tour on Prime Video caused the battery to drop 6%.

Games

The Snapdragon 765G is also suitable for gaming. Some of the Snapdragon Elite gaming features have disappeared from the flagship platform. And gaming is something OnePlus Nord can handle very well in terms of performance. Popular games like PUBG Mobile and COD: Mobile run with 100% stability. And that means there is no image drop.

Call of Duty: Mobile worked best when everything was in full swing. The phone registered 60 FPS with 100% stability and high graphics. The small screen took a while to point and shoot, especially after using the ROG Phone III as a gaming phone. However, PUBG Mobile has not allowed HDR graphics to be enabled. It is strange because it has an HDR screen and the chip supports HDR games. Therefore, the frame rate is set to 30 FPS with the highest settings, while 40 FPS is achieved when dialling down. However, you get 100% overall stability.

However, we can’t really say that OnePlus Nord is suitable for gaming. The compact form factor is particularly a hindrance to high-octane gaming. You have less room for your button layout and even less room to achieve the goal. The tactile response, on the other hand, is outstanding. Typically touch sampling is set to 120 Hz. However, when you start a game like COD: Mobile, the touch sampling rate reaches almost 240 Hz, which is very useful for quickly capturing an enemy with one shot ‘elite. While the form factor is more geared towards non-gamers, you can get the gaming performance you want if that’s what you want.

Final Thoughts

The OnePlus Nord offers everything but the hype. It’s a normal smartphone by today’s standards, but it’s incredibly smooth and responsive. The OnePlus Nord is an oasis from the days, when smartphones were still a personal thing and not a billboard backed by pop-ups and notifications, amid crowds of phones flashing with the latest hardware but affected by software bottom with advertising turned around. This is something we support and can recommend understanding the basics fully. With devices like the Realme X3 SuperZoom and the Redmi K20 Pro waving the flagship Snapdragon 855 SoC, the Nord is not the right choice, but a pragmatic and sensible choice.

It is a compact smartphone that offers the smoothest smartphone experience in its segment, even with the compromises OnePlus had to make to lower the price. Yes, there are phones with better hardware (Redmi K20 Pro, Realme X3 SuperZoom), but the experience is not necessarily better. Looking at the OnePlus Nord Price in Nepal is it worth?
