A few months back 120Mbps CG net was introduced in Nepal which disrupted the Nepali ISP market. And now, it has brought a cost-effective 50Mbps internet plan under “Super सस्तो Package”. Here, we will look further into the price, duration, availability, and fair usage policy of CG net 50Mbps internet.
CG Net 50Mbps “Super सस्तो Package”
The 120Mbps CG Net that started a few months back brought major disruption to the Nepali ISP market. Following the footsteps, other ISPs also introduced internet plans with higher bandwidth plans. This includes Subisu’s 150Mbps and Worldlink’s 300Mbps. But since not everyone wants high bandwidth internet, CG has introduced a 50Mbps internet plan under “Super सस्तो Package” for Rs.649 per month. You can subscribe to the plan monthly, tri-monthly, half-yearly, or yearly. However, the price per month – Rs. 649 remains the same despite your subscription.
CG Net’s 50 Mbps internet plan resides above other major ISP’s 40 and 60Mbps internet plans. You can see the comparison in the table below:

CG Net 50Mbps Coverage and Limitations
CG Net has very limited coverage since it is still expanding. It should be available throughout the country within a year or two. But right now, it is only available around Kathmandu Valley. You can learn more about this via CG Net’s official site.
Moreover, there is no IPTV service in the CG internet plans but will be soon available within some time. Rumors are that the IPTV and video OTT services will be provided with a partnership with Airtel.
