DJI recently launched its latest consumer drone which has now entered the Nepali market. There is also a “Cine” variant which is available here alongside other versions. In this post, we will look at the specs, features, availability, and the official price of the DJI Mavic 3 in Nepal.
DJI Mavic 3 Overview
Camera
The new DJI Mavic 3 features a dual-camera setup with a 20MP camera that uses a Four Thirds CMOS sensor from Hasselblad with an 84-degree field of view. It can shoot 5.1k videos at up to 50 frames per second. Likewise, the second one is a 12MP telephoto lens with a ½” sensor and f/4.4 aperture. It can record 4k videos at 30 frames per second.
Battery, Security, Transmission
Fueling the drone is a massive 5,000mAh battery which gives us a flight time of 46 minutes. It also integrates omnidirectional obstacle avoidance. You can detect objects from a 200m distance now. All Thanks to the new sensors!! There is also an improved Return to Home (RTH) feature which makes the drone identify the safest and most efficient path back to where it took off.
The drone Mavic 3 brings in an O3+ transmission system which is the debut for it as well. It has a control range of up to 15km and a live feed transmission of 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second. In addition, if you put the drone in a Sport mode, you can have a maximum flight distance of 30km.
Standard vs Fly More vs Cine Premium
The DJI Mavic 3 comes in three different variants – Standard, Fly More Combo, and a new Cine Premium Combo. The last one has higher-end specs, features, and more accessories which means it supports Apple ProRes 422 HQ video format as well. Likewise, the Fly More Combo has additional accessories like cables, batteries, propellers, and cases.
There is a 1TB (SSD) card which is an upgrade compared to an 8GB memory on the standard models. It also comes with DJI RC Pro which is a controller with an in-built screen.
