Gionee has been out of the Nepali market for quite a time now. But now it is going to have a comeback with the Gionee M15. The first Gionee smartphone to hit the Nepali market was M100. Design and Display
Gionee M15 features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel boasting an 84.4% screen-to-body ratio. It has an FHD+ resolution of 1080×2400-pixels with an approximate PPI density of 395. Further, it sports an aspect ratio of 20:9.
Talking about the design, M15 bundles a center-aligned camera module at the front and left-aligned camera modules at the back. It is only available in Gray color. In addition, there is a rear-mounted physical fingerprint scanner.
Performance
Powering up the Gionee M15 is a MediaTek Helio G90 processor based on a 12nm mobile platform chipset. There is an Octa-core CPU with two 2.05GHz A76 and six 2.0GHz A55 cortices. For graphics, there is a Mali-G76 MC4 processor. The gaming experience is very smooth in the device due to the presence of MediaTek HyperEngine Technology.
As for memory, there are two configurations; 6/128GB and 8/128GB. The internal memory is expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot. Moreover, Gionee M15 runs on the updated version of Android 11.
Camera and Sound
Under the hood, Gionee M15 packs a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. Completing the setup is a 5MP ultrawide lens, and two 2MP sensors for macro and depth shots. There is an LED flashlight included in the camera bump. Further, HDR and panorama modes are prevalent. The video shoot can be done in 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second.
Talking about the front camera, there is a 16MP lens that can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. Moreover, for sound, there is a loudspeaker system and a 3.5mm headphone jack port for music and FM radio.
Battery and Extras
Gionee M15 is mechanized with a 5,000mAh lithium-polymer battery. There is a 18W fast charging support through a USB Type-C 2.0 port. Furthermore, there are accelerometers, gyro, and proximity for sensors.
Moreover, there is a dual-SIM slot, 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth system as connectivity tools.
