Huawei P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ Overview
Both P40 Pro and Pro+ come with the new “Quad-curve Overflow Display” which features 6.58-inches OLED screen 90 Hz display that supports HDR10 which is great for media consumption. Build wise P40 pro is similar to P40’s frosted glass back, whereas P40 Pro+ has a ceramic back which is more scratch-resistant and gives you premium feel along with fingerprints :-p. Looking at the specs sheet, Huawei P40 Pro has brought specifications that fit the targeted market and comparatively better specifications than its competitors. The best part of these recently launched handsets is their camera. Huawei P40 Pro is equipped with 50 MP rear camera along with 12 MP Periscope lens (5x optical zoom), 40 MP ultra-wide camera and a TOF 3D for depth sensing. And its elder sibling, P40 Pro+ comes with the same 50 MP (wide) and 40 MP(ultrawide) along with 8 MP Periscope lens (10x optical zoom), icing the cake with another 8 MP Telephoto camera for extra punch for zoom and image enhancement and a TOF 3D.
As for the front camera, both devices houses a 32 MP selfie camera inside the pill-shaped punch hole upfront along with an IR TOF 3D sensors for depth sensing and Biometrics. With these camera specifications, its a beast among many smartphones launched in the market.
Huawei has provided Decent storage options up to 512 GB storage but you are stuck with 8 GB RAM. Also, Huawei has come up with their own sd card slot namely NM (Nano Memory), using that the storage is expandable up to 256GB which I think is not so wow feature. Powering these devices is a Huawei’s own processor, HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G (7 nm+) Octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G76 MP16 GPU, you can expect lots of power in this device. This device Android 10 (AOSP + HMS ) with EMUI 10.1 on top. Both the devices have 4200mAh battery which supports 40W Huawei SuperCharge and 27W fast reverse wireless charging. But they differ in wireless charging though, P40 Pro+ supports 40W wireless charging whereas P40 Pro supports only 27W Wireless charging.

Huawei P40 Pro, Pro+ Price in Nepal
For the international market, Huawei P40 Pro was set to launch on April 7 2020, along with P40 but due to the current lockdown situation, it’s not immediately available. We can expect it to arrive soon. P40 Pro+ is expected to launch in June 2020. Looking at the price of global variants you can expect the price of Huawei P40 Pro around NRs. 1,34,999 for 8/256 GB and P40 Pro+ around NRs. 1,89,999 for 8/512 GB in Nepal.
