iQOO 10, 10 Pro with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC now official

Finally, iQOO has unveiled the all-new iQOO 10 series, which includes the iQOO 10 Pro and the vanilla iQOO 10. Under the hood, both devices share the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The only significant difference is in Display, Camera, and Charging Speed. Along with that, there is a lot to talk about both smartphones, and we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the official price of the iQOO 10 & 10 Pro in Nepal.

iQOO 10 & 10 Pro Overview:

Let’s discuss the highlighted features first; the iQOO 10 Pro is the first smartphone to feature 200W wired fast charging commercially. And the vanilla iQOO 10 only supports 120W fast charging.

Display and Design

Both smartphones feature 6.78 inches AMOLED display. But, the iQOO 10 Pro features an LTPO3 AMOLED display with a 3200 x 1440 resolution. The toned-down version, iQOO 10, features an AMOLED display with a 2400 x 1080 resolution. Similarly, both device is capable of a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,500 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. Besides that, the pro variant uses an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, whereas the base iQOO 10 uses an optical fingerprint scanner.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, both devices are equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It is an Octa-core processor based on a 4nm fabrication process which is more power-efficient and powerful. Bundled with Adreno 730 GPU and Vivo’s V1+ chip, you can get a smooth gaming experience. Both iQOO 10 and 10 Pro are configurable up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Camera and Audio

For cameras, iQOO 10 Pro has a triple-camera setup combining a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor with gimbal stabilization as a Primary Camera and, a 14.6MP Telephoto Camera with 3x optical zoom & OIS, and a 50MP Ultra-wide Angle Camera with a 150-degree Field of View.

Whereas iQOO 10 has a slightly different triple-camera setup with a 50MP ISOCELL GN5 sensor with regular OIS as a Primary Camera, a 12MP Telephoto Camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP Ultra-wide Angle Camera with a 120-degree Field of View. Upfront, both 10 and 10 Pro has a 16MP selfie camera and uses a Vivo V1+ imaging chip for better image enhancement and optimization. As per audio, it has a stereo speaker setup.

Battery and Extras

Inside, both smartphones have a double cell 4700mAh battery, which can get juiced up quickly. Regarding the charging, iQOO 10 Pro uses a 200W GaN charger capable of charging from 0 to 100% in 10 minutes. Whereas iQOO 10 only supports 120W FlashCharge Support, capable of charging from 0 to 100% in 19 minutes. Additionally, iQOO 10 pro supports Power Delivery 3.0, 10W Reverse wireless charging, and 50W Fast wireless charging, but sadly the vanilla iQOO 10 only supports Power Delivery 3.0.

We can expect the iQOO 10 Pro Price in Nepal to be around Rs.99,999 for the base variant 8GB RAM & 256GB storage. And, iQOO 10 Price in Nepal to be around Rs.73,999 for the base variant 8GB RAM & 128GB storage. It is currently in pre-order in China and will starts sales from July 26.
