Realme Nepal launched its latest iteration of the 9-series smartphones in the market a few months back. This is the second 4G phone in the series and here, we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the official price of the Realme 9 in Nepal.

Display and Design

Let’s start with the display – there is a 6.4-inches Super AMOLED screen with a Full HD resolution of 1080×2400-pixels capacity. There are 10240 levels to take the touch sampling while the rate moves up to 360Hz. It also boasts 430nits of typical brightness and 1000nits of the peak. And the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Further, the device has the “Ripple Holographic Design” with plasma atom-coating and UV-Nano imprinting.  Its body weighs 178 grams and measures 8mm in dimension.  There are three color options available for the device – Meteor Black, Sunburst Gold, and Stargaze White.

Performance and Memory

Powering the model is Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset based on a 6nm manufacturing process. This was the same chipset used in Redmi Note 11, Samsung Galaxy A23 4G, and the Realme 9i. It integrates an octa-core CPU with four Kryo 265 Gold and four Kryo 265 Silver cores clocked at the speed of 2.4GHz and 1.9GHz respectively. Likewise, the graphics depart is handled by Adreno 610 processor.

Over to the software front, the device boots on Android 12 on top of Realme UI 3.0. Moreover, there are two different memory configurations for the model – 6/128GB and 8/128GB of UFS 2.2. You can also expand the internal storage up to 256GB via the dedicated microSD card slot.

Camera and Audio

Under the hood, there is a triple camera setup in the rear panel of the device. It is led by a 108MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 0.64-microns pixel capacity, and support for Dual Pixel PDAF. Following the model is an 8MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, 120-degree field of view, and 1.12-microns pixel capacity. And the setup is finally completed with a 2MP camera for macro shots. The setup can also shoot HDR and panorama pictures.

Upfront, there is a 16MP selfie snapper with f/2.5 aperture and 1.0-microns pixel capacity. Both front and back cameras can record video up to 1080p resolution at the rate of 30 frames per second. For audio, there is a loudspeaker system that tunes out 24-bit/192kHz audio. You can also use the 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls.

Moving on, the Realme 9 5G is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It can charge from 0 to 50% in 31 minutes and from 0 to 100% in 75. For biometrics, there is an under-display fingerprint sensor followed by a software-based face unlock.

Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Lastly, the connectivity options list out as Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO), and USB Type-C 2.0.
