Nokia C20 Plus: A better version of the standard Nokia C20

After the standard Nokia C20, the upgraded version Nokia C20 Plus is finally here. This is the latest budget smartphone from HMD global. The Nokia C20 Plus price in Nepal is expected to be under Rs. 13,000. However, the standard version is already available in Nepal in the authorized stores all across the country.

Let’s see the specs, features, and availability alongside the Nokia C20 Plus price in Nepal.

Nokia C20 Plus Overview:

Design and Display

The new Nokia C20 Plus has a 6.5” HD+ screen with a waterdrop notch that holds the camera. Similar to the Nokia C20, the Plus version also has thick bezels with Nokia Branding on the lower end. The body weighs 204.7gm which is more than the C20 which was 191gm. The polycarbonate body is supposed to make the phone sturdier and more durable with the Ocean Blue and Graphite Black outlooks.

The IPS LCD panel boasts an 81.3% screen-to-body ratio whereas the 720×1600 pixels resolution supports a 20:9 aspect ratio with approximate 270 PPI density.

Performance and Memory

The powering factor of the Nokia C20 Plus is the same as that of the regular Nokia C20. Both of them use a Unisoc SC9863A processor based on a 28nm chipset. The Mali G52 MC2 graphics processor is accompanied by the eight Cortex-A55 cores (4×1.6GHz + 4×1.2GHz) CPU. The performance is quite closer to Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 or MediaTek Helio P22.

Nokia C20 Plus packs the Go-Edition of Android 11 same as the C20. However, the memory variant is upgraded with 3/32GB where the non-plus had 1/16GB and 2/32GB variants. The internal storage is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

Camera

The most notable transition of the C20 plus is that it has a dual-camera setup on the back. The circular camera module has an 8MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth lens with a LED flash support.

Upfront, it flaunts a 5MP selfie camera in a waterdrop notch but unlike the C20, it doesn’t have its own LED flash. The video support is 720p from both sides at 30fps.

For connectivity, there is a Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.2, and a GPS/A-GPS. It has an accelerometer and proximity for sensor depart and a loudspeaker, 3.5mm headphone jack, and FM radio support system.
