Nokia G20 Price in Nepal, Specs & Availibility

The HMD Global announced six devices with new lineups and naming schemes earlier this year. One of the devices among them was the “Battery-first” Nokia G20 which has finally launched in Nepali Market. The Nokia G20 price in Nepal is very reasonable considering what it has to offer. So, let’s find out if the phone is capable of filling the hype created in the market.

Nokia G20 overview:

Build and Display:

Nokia has launched another model featuring a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels. The front camera comes as a V-shaped notch on top of the handset. The display is safeguarded with a 2.5D protection glass along with a thick chin and a confined Nokia logo.

Moving on to the design, the phone weighs 197 g (6.95 oz) with 164.9 x 76 x 9.2 mm (6.49 x 2.99 x 0.36 in) dimensions and 9.22mm thickness. It wraps a circular camera bump on the back alongside power and volume buttons on the right side. The left side of the phone has a steadfast Google Assistant Button.

The company has offered two color variants for the model – Glacier and Night respectively.

Camera:

In terms of camera, the phone has a quad-camera setup under the hood. The primary sensor is a 48MP, f.1.8, wide, PDAF lens. Other sensors include a 5MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP portrait sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The setup boosts LED flash, HDR, and panorama.

For selfies, we have an 8MP sensor inside the V-shaped top-notch front display.

As for the video, both front and rear cameras support the excellency of 1080p@30fps. We can also add spatial audio on our videos using the OZO Audio software using the phone.

Performance and Memory:

The performance has got a hit, as it is powered with an inferior Helio G35 chipset based on a 12nm process. This is an octa-core with eight Cortex-A53 cores advancing a maximum clock speed of 2.3GHz.

The handset comes with Android 11 flexing PowerVR GE8320 of GPU. Nokia has added little-to-no custom elements which make the user experience ad-free. We can’t expect full-on gaming on this phone but it will be fine for day-to-day tasks and low-level gaming familiarity.

Nokia has gone with 4/64GB and 4/128GB as two variants. The latter variant is yet not available in Nepali Market but you can expand the former variant up to 512GB through a micro-SD card slot.

Battery:

In terms of battery, the phone is shipped with a non-removable Li-Po 5050mAh battery with 10W USB Type-C 2.0 charging support. The brand has claimed battery endurance for up to three days with a full charge. The phone should be good for like two days for gentle users.

Extra features of Nokia G20:

The handset supports a 3.5 mm headphone jack (FM radio) with Bluetooth version 5.0, A2DP, LE. The phone has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a hotspot, and also supports GPS along with market/region dependent NFC.

There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and accelerometer, gyro, proximity as other sensors.
