OnePlus has launched two new smartphones in the Indian market – The OnePlus 10R 5G and the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. The latter is a mid-range smartphone derived from the standard OnePlus Nord CE 2. It launched inside the Nepali market a few months back and now it has got a price hike. Here, we will talk about the specs, features, availability, and the new price of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in Nepal.

Display and Design
Beginning with the design, the new OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite brings a 6.59-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution. It has a high refresh rate of 120Hz and boasts sRGB alongside the DCI-P3 color gamut. It has a 1080×2412-pixel capacity paired with a 401-pixel density. Above a screen, there is a left-aligned punch-hole that holds the front-facing camera.
The device weighs 195 grams and measures 8.5mm in thickness. It has a dual-tone finish which is new to the Nord series. There are stripes around the camera which limits there with a simple matte plastic finish in the rest of the body at the back. Likewise, the screen is made up of glass which is then embedded in a plastic frame. There are two color options for the phone – Blue Tide and Black Dusk.
Performance and Memory
Under the hood, the handset runs on Android 12 on top of OxygenOS 12.1. You will also get two years of major security updates and three years of additional software updates. Then, the system is powered up with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G based on a 6nm manufacturing process.
It integrates an octa-core CPU with two Kryo 660 Gold (@2.2GHz) and six Kryo 660 Silver (@1.7GHz) cores. Likewise, the graphics depart is handled by Adreno 619 chipset. To note, this is the same processor we previously saw in Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and Realme 9 Pro.
As per memory, there are two memory configurations – 6/128GB and 8/128GB of UFS 2.2. You can also expand the internal storage up to 1TB via a shared microSD card slot.
Camera and Audio
Over to the optics front, there is a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary lens with 0.7-microns pixel capacity, f/1.7 aperture, and PDAF support. This is a little disappointing considering there is no support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). However, you can see the Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) here. Further, there are two 2MP lenses with an f/2.4 aperture each for macro and portrait shots respectively.
Upfront, there is a 16MP Sony IMX471 selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture and 1.0-microns pixel capacity. Both rear and front cameras can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. Likewise, there is a loudspeaker system for audio followed by a 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls.
Rest of the specs
Fueling the device is a non-removable Li-Po 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. You can also see 9 temperature sensors and a dedicated chip that keeps the battery safe. For biometrics, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner alongside a software-based face unlock. Other sensor includes an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
Lastly, there is Wi-Fi 802.11m Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, QZSS), and a USB Type C 2.0 port for connectivity.
