After tons of rumors and leaks, Realme has finally launched the Realme 9 Pro in the Indian market. It succeeds last year’s Realme 8 Pro. The device also has a Plus version with a heart rate sensor. In this post, we will dig into the specs, features, availability, and expected price of Realme 9 Pro in Nepal.
Realme 9 Pro Overview
Display and Design
The new Realme 9 Pro sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution. It also boasts a flexible 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate alongside 430nits typical and 600nits HBM brightness. Its pixel capacity and pixel density measure 1080×2412 and 400 respectively.
The device weighs 195 grams while embedding the dimension of 164.3×75.6×8.5mmThere are three color options available for the model – Midnight Black, Aurora Green, and Sunrise Blue. The last one also has a “Light Shift Design” with a color-changing back panel. It can shift from light blue to red when exposed to sunlight directly. This is the same feature that was previously seen in Vivo V23 Pro.
Performance and Memory
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 5G chipset based on a 6nm manufacturing process. It has two Kryo 660 Gold and six Kryo 660 Silver cores clocked at the speed of 2.2GHz and 1.7GHz respectively. Likewise, the graphics depart is handled by Adreno 619.
As per memory, there are two memory configurations – 6/128GB and 8/128GB of UFS 2.2. You can also expand your internal storage with the help of a shared (SIM slot) microSD card slot. On the software front, the handset boots on Android 12 on top of Realme UI 3.0.
Camera and Audio
Under the hood, there is a triple camera setup on the new Realme 9 Pro. It has a 64MP primary lens with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF support. Likewise, there is an 8MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and 119-degree field of view. Completing the setup is a 2MP camera for macro shots. The module also holds the LED flash for better night shots.
Upfront, there is a 16MP selfie snapper with an f/2.4 aperture. Here, both front and back cameras can record 1080p videos at the rate of 30 frames per second. Moving on, there is a loudspeaker system with stereo speakers that tune out 24-nit/192kHz audio. You can also see the 3.5mm headphone jack for music and calls.

Fueling the Realme 9 Pro is a massive Li-Po 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The charging happens via a USB Type-C 2.0 port which can also be used for data transfer purposes. For biometrics, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a software-based face unlocks.
Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Lastly, there are connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS), and a region-dependent NFC.
