A new pair of TWS has been unveiled by Oppo. Oppo Enco R is the latest sound accessory by Oppo which has already been released in the Chinese market. It will launch into the global market within a few months. This is a budget earbud with 20 hours of battery life. Here, we will be looking at the specs, features, availability, and the expected price of Oppo Enco R in Nepal.

Oppo Enco R Overview

Design

The new Oppo Enco R looks a lot like the Apple AirPods since both features a stem and an open-ear fit design. They are very light in weight – 3.5 grams each and 40 grams with the case. The body is also IPX4 rated against water resistivity which means it can survive minor splashes and sweats.

The elliptical charger case of the earbuds is designed to match the colors of the TWS earbuds. It has a green indicator LED on the front that shows you the charge status. Likewise, there is a Type-C charging port at the bottom of the case which is used for charging. Moreover, it is available in a single-color configuration – White.

Audio and Connectivity

The earbuds are driven with a 13.4mm audio driver and according to Oppo, it is twice as effective as the standard 12mm one. It also integrates a dedicated bass chamber that boosts the low frequencies for the mainstream audience. However, it still doesn’t have the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature. Instead of ANC, it uses a noise-reducing AI algorithm for clear calls.

You can connect your earbuds to the phone via Bluetooth 5.2 with a low-latency mode with reduced latency up to 94ms. It is compatible with both Android and iOS platforms with Oppo’s HeyMelody app. You can check your battery status, switch between sound modes, and even update the firmware using the app.

Controls

Moving on, the earbuds have touch-based controls which will let you manage playback for your playlist, adjust the sound volumes, and even call out for your phone’s voice assistant. To top it off, you can also control your phone camera via the earbuds to shoot some pictures or even videos on some Oppo phones with the latest ColorOS software.

Battery and Charging

As we mentioned earlier, the earbuds give you a total playback time of 20 hours. It is while including the 300mAh case. If you exclude it, you can have around 4 hours of it and to charge them, it is 1.5hours for earbuds and 2 for the case.
